“Beautiful old house right near the port with breakfast included. Joslin and her staff were kind and helpful and care that everyone is comfortable and happy. There is no kitchen for guests but there is a small fridge, bottled water, and a coffee/tea area. The Starlink worked well on my laptop but not well on my phone. ”

“Casa Cascada is very clean, comfortable and pretty. The location is great too - an easy 10-minute walk to the port and tourist area, or a $2 taxi ride. There are also lots of great local restaurants that are very cheap on that 10-minute walk from the hotel to downtown. My room was big with air conditioning, a large window and a private bathroom. “Aircondition was leaking water inside in the room, our luggage was soaking wet. We tried to contact the reception but there was no one there. We wrote to the hostel via WhatsApp and called them but no reply. Even now after 24 hours we havnet heard anything. Would not recommend this place. ”

“The room had not been cleaned very well, as there were sweet wrappers on the floor by the side of the bed. The towels appeared to have been washed but smelt VERY bad, as if they had been put away while still very damp. We saw no hot water come out of the taps for the first 24 hours of our stay, despite trying periodically. We eventually had a brief bit of hot water but it only lasted long enough for my wife to have a shower. Mine was cold. And worst of all, they were over booked for our second...
