“My room was very cozy and super clean. I have traveled around Asia recently and stayed in a number of budget hotels and this hotel was one of the best. Clean and modern. I took a room without a window (to save money) and I just ran my air conditioner every once in awhile - it worked perfectly. There is a very nice and large lounge area, as well, so you can go there if you want to with your laptop and do work. It was very easy for me to get to this hotel from Shanghai Station - I walked....

“Hotel was in a great location. Close to all attractions and events. Close to tourist areas and shopping. Lots of restaurants near by. The only thing I didn’t like about this hotel was that it was such an inconvenience for cars to enter and exit the hotel. Staffs were somewhat friendly but lack English. It was hard to communicate with one another even with translators. ”

“I booked through Expedia in New Zealand. Arrived in Shanghai at the hotel, there was no reservation made. Expedia have been paid but not booked the hotel. The online support is a contradiction to the word support. I had to rebook at the hotel. The messages left with Expedia AI have not been replied to. Expedia, to most people this is known as a scam. Please be resposible and return the payment I made to you.”

“The location is great if you can find it not easy to find all the signage is in Chinese and very difficult to find. Fortunately I had a Chinese colleague with me who helped without him. I would’ve had a huge problem. Also if you arrive late then I don’t think it’s manned so you get a problem getting in. All the doors have Security code on and it’s very difficult even the taxi drivers don’t know where it is.”
