“This is the second time we have stayed at The Moelwyn . Always a lovely welcome. At £70 per night for the room it was fine . We were able to bring our own food in to eat at the hotel- one evening we ate fish and chips with a bottle of wine on the terrace with a lovely view of the castle and seaside nearby - perfect ”

“Bit of a blip at check in (which wasn’t the hotels fault tbh) but James was quick to rectify the situation and all the staff were excellent (well done James,Sion,Baz and Charlotte for your very attentive treatment We will definitely be returning ”

“This was my second visit to The Lion. The hotel offers excellent service at a very reasonable rate. The staff are friendly and the food on offer is very good and at a very competitive price. I would highly recommend this hotel.”

“A very comfortable night with a view of a beach and Cardigan Bay. A very good gluten free breakfast. I saw dolphins in the harbour, many sea birds including a cormorant with a fish and I had a lovely cliff walk.”

“Large spacious room finished to a high standard & clean. Plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Bed was large & comfortable. Good central location for shops & restaurants & less than 10 minutes walk from the beach. Recommend this hotel & we would definitely go back.”

“Fabulous property , the rooms have been done to a very high standard . Gorgeous bathroom and facilities are great too . The mini bar was a nice touch as was the complimentary ice cream . Best hairdryer I’ve ever used , lovely fluffy bathrobes , I could go on…”

“Our stay was perfect all the way from the initial, warm greeting from Pattra, to the wonderful room, a lovely Thai dinner and, then, a peaceful night’s sleep and an excellent breakfast. We can offer no improvements. Just thank you for a great visit. It also has a great location-just around the corner from the Castle!”
