“We had the best time at the Whale on Main! Communication was excellent, we were welcomed so warmly by the host (including a glass of Gluhwein!), and she even upgraded our room at no cost! Fantastic local recommendations, cute little honest bar, great reading options, and an OUTSTANDING breakfast cooked to order! “Sehr schöne und einladende Unterkunft, mit einem angenehm persönlichen Flair. Checkin war super und wir wurden gleich gefragt wie wir gerne unser Frühstück am nächsten Tag hätten. Außerdem haben wir viele gute Tipps für Hermanus und auch für unsere weiter Fahrt bekommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder und können es wärmsten weiterempfehlen! ☀️”

“Il 'Whale Sanctuary Lodge' è un posto da sogno situato in un punto incantevole della costa sudafricana nella zona adiacente ad Hermanus. Tranquillo, silenzioso e con ampie vetrate sulla baia delle balene, anche se purtroppo visitato in un giorno piovoso del mite inverno sudafricano, è un posto che mertia di essere prenotato.”

“Ottima struttura nel centro di Hermanus, noi abbiamo scelto una camera vista mare e la consiglio panorama bellissimo e dal letto avevamo la possibilità di vedere le balene. Segnalo solo che manca l’ascensore per cui noi eravamo al 3 piano e con i bagagli è stato un po’ faticoso anche se il personale dell’hotel è stato molto disponibile . Buona colazione internazionale per cui assolutamente la consiglio (è presente un comodo parcheggio gratuito) ”

“Pure Bliss, this is an amazing location. The silence and nature is perfect just to get away from the hustle and bustle. The owner is also very welcoming making sure there is enough wood and making sure our stay was amazing. The Hot tub is amazing and overlooks the forest. So cosy and relaxing. Its also only 1.30min from Cape Town.”

“Was a great house and location was perfect but being winter and a coldish weekend, would have been nice to have a few heaters but the blankets were a great second best and made it warm enough.
