“We enjoyed the antiques and the castle like venue. The free breakfast was good. The workers were always helpful. and now they have rooms that accommodate you sweet doggies so they can come with you. Very enjoyable trip. :) ”

“The hotel is beautiful and very clean. It’s literally right next to the ISU campus. The front desk staff were very nice and accommodating. The room itself was clean, but I could not reach anybody on the phone. according to the buttons on the phone you should’ve been able to reach dining, front desk, etc.. The mattress felt firm and cheap, so it was hard to get a good nights sleep. I am the cook at home, so I was really looking forward to a made-to-order breakfast in the morning. When I asked...

“The staff was courteous and down to earth. The breakfast had a great variety for all my family. The suites were very spacious and the beds were amazingly comfortable. Some of the outlets didn't work in our room, but there were plenty of others to choose from. It was a pleasant experience away from home.”

“I would have given the staff a 5 star, but upon arrival I waited for about 5-7 minutes while the desk receptionist carried on a personal conversation….not even an acknowledgement saying I’ll be right with you. The hotel itself was clean, felt new and my room was wonderful. I do think this hotel needs to include breakfast in the price of the room and not a separate charge especially since it’s not a breakfast to order and has standard fare of what other hotels serve. ”
