“Very scenic, small historic vineyard property, set on terraced hillside not far from the Douro River. Staff was very nice and helpful, and prepared a wonderful breakfast. Very clean, charming room. Not walking distance to the town, but parking on site. Should be comfortable with heights, and mountain driving on a steep switchback road, but prize is the amazing view.”

“Our stay at Casa de Casal de Loivos exceeded all our expectations—and I say that in spite of some windy, rainy days! Bernardo was so gracious and helpful. Before we even arrived he was letting us know about road closures and provided directions for the best route. Upon arrival, our bags were brought in for us and he even volunteered to park our car.
