“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The king bed was comfy, the room was clean, the ladies on reception were very friendly. We had breakfast, both menu and buffet, which was very nice. Top parking can be a little squeezy if you have a big car. We were ok until our neighbour parked over half our side. Small thing, trim the garden in row 3, so cars can park safely and not take out their bumpers on the rocks hidden underneath, also allowing other cars to easily pass behind. Would definately stay again...

“Check in was fast and the room was very spacious. The room had everything you might need for a stay, and the room was very clean and comfortable. With its location there really is nothing to complain about. The staff were lovely and I would definitely come back.”

“Overall a very comfortable stay. Kitchen and bathroom are a bit dated but it was very spacious and had great extras like cooking oil and cling wrap. Also loved having a washing machine and dryer and the bed had an electric blanket. Would be a great place with kids as there’s a large lawn area out the back and a large green reserve at the front of the house. ”

“We had a wonderful time in Albany. We booked a 5 night stay at the Golf and Beach Retreat. The weather was not in our favour for a few days but that didn't deter us from getting out and about. We were well equipped for it! We enjoyed some lovely food and took in many of the sights that Albany is famous for. The Whaling Station is a must! Our accommodation was good, although a little dated but it suited our needs. Be mindful that if you use a mobility aid you may have issues getting through the...

“The Grange on Calgan Farm is placed on beautiful grounds with views over the Kalgan River. It is very quiet and relaxing, however, even though it is advertised as pet and child friendly the host is not particularly friendly towards dogs and children. We had a lovely time in Albany, and spent hardly any time at the Grange, with two adults, two teenage children and a labrador, expecting a dog friendly place, as it was advertised, but did not feel welcome with our dog.
