“Great three night stay at The Bayou. Staff were polite and helpful with check in. We stayed in the Deluxe Super King which was modern, spacious and clean. The little snacks and drinks vouchers were a lovely touch. Air con worked very well with managing the temperature. The aesthetic of the hotel was beautiful and all areas were well maintained. The pool was a great temperature and we never struggled to find sunbeds. View from pool is lovely, especially during sunrise. The food at breakfast...

“Struttura che consiglio solo per due giorni se si è di passaggio si trova fronte mare ma nessun servizio in spiaggia come dal resto quasi tutti i Resort la piscina senza lettini scomoda e non di certo rilassante buon rapporto qualità prezzo la colazione non di certo di mio gusto comunque consiglio ripeto solo pochi giorni”

“The hotel/resort is in a nice location, a 5 minutes walk from the beach and a 15 minutes walk from the center of Cenang. The front desk staff is always very nice and polite, the staff at breakfast not so much. I stayed here 3 nights, the room was big enough for me, but had I been with someone else (it was a double room) it would have probably been a bit small. After the first night the room was not cleaned, they just provided new water bottles and fresh towels, but floor and toilet weren't...

“Our favourite stop on our 3.5 week malaysia holiday. Has a very relaxed feel, immaculate gardens, long thin warm pool and the staff are excellent. Food was amazing so much so we ate there every night but one when we went to the night market. Hotel can deliver car to you for 100MR (£17) for 24 hours and arrange other trips. Cats are around if you dont like but are friendly - my son wanted to take one home! Did hear the prayer call about 5.30am which woke me up but to be expected on island. Also...

“If you like closeness to nature, this the place for you. Squirrels, birds and monkeys visited our balcony during our stay. The glass walled villa offers amazing view of the forest in all four directions but if you prefer privacy, draw the curtains, which we didn't have to use. Given the location, expect some ants, mostly in the bathtub but they don't bite or bother us. The adorable resident dogs do bark intermittently at night so bring ear plugs if necessary. Lots of dining options in Chenang, including SE Asian, Indian, Pakistani Middle Eastern, Mexican, Western Tisha Wellness resort is located in a rural area, and is a simple, clean and comfortable set of 6 cottages built around a swimming pool. Staff are very friendly, welcoming, efficient and helpful. Quiet neighbourhood. , I would definitely recommend this place! ”

“Very quiet small resort, extraordinary appartments made from old sea containers. 200m from the highway and 2 km from Kuah (restaurants, streetfood, shopping ...). Directly by the sea (no possibility to swim). Infinity pool (almost nobody there). Very friendly staff. Highly recommended for pair, independent travellers and people who want to spent time on calm and quiet place.”
