“What you need to know. Fiji is HOT. Restaurants are not air conditioned. Snorkeling off resort is marginal. Food is good but buffet needs help. We did not need the food plan. People stake out the best spots at the adult pool even though they are not supposed to. Staff is delightful but make sure they understand you. Over all we were pleasantly surprised. We loved the sea front bure. ”

“We had a great 5 days at Malolo island resort. Staff was excellent, happy, friendly and helpful, particularly restaurant staff who made us feel super special. The whole atmosphere made us smile even on slightly cloudy days. Food was great, we ate mostly seafood and it was fresh and tasty in all three restaurants. “La struttura, Il personale ed i servizi sono di ottimo livello. Il vicino aeroporto è comodamente raggiungibile tramite shuttle gratuito.
Però la distanza dal centro abitato più vicino è tale che per variare un po’, oltre alla spiaggia del resort ed al ristorante dello stesso, un giorno ho dovuto noleggiare un’auto. Insomma tutto OK a parte l’assenza di servizi di trasporto e di una città sufficientemente vicina.”

“The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with great views of the mountains and the sleeping giant. The hotel is close to the city center and only 10 minutes or so from the airport. However, be careful with the so-called official taxi-drivers. They refuse anyone with credit cards and will try to rob you blind if you ask to use foreign currency, quoting a rate at least twice as much as normal. The good news is that I found out there...

“Great location. Natadola beach is stunning. Our beach bungalow was right next to the garbage storage but with nice view. Food at the restaurant is good even though it doesn't vary a lot. Overall the staff is very nice, would just need some help on organization (e.g. messing up orders at the restaurant, room was very hot when we got there) and guidance on service excellence: for what you pay you would expect better service.
