“very clean hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Only thing that would better the stay would be if they included breakfast with the stay. Although, it's a short walk inside to the Mall where there are several choices for food if on a budget.”

“My wife and I throughly enjoyed our stay at the Lord Nelson Hotel and Suites. Though clearly an older hotel, has been extremely well maintained. Stepping into the lobby with its wood paneling and chandeliers is a bit like traveling back in time to the mid 1900's. It is conveniently located across the street from the Halifax Public Gardens and within walking distance of the Halifax Citadel. There is a surprisingly vast number of nearby restaurants to choose from. There is a parking garage...

“Generally a great hotel however at over $400.00/night not providing bath robes in our room was very poor!!
This was not an oversight as when I called the front desk I was told that this was in fact their policy.
They did however deliver two bathrobes to our room after I requested them to do so.
VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!”
