“Valet parking is a must.. the urgency and kindness the gentleman put in getting your vehicle -I give them a 10-. The staff at check in were nice, asked us what floor we preferred and north/or south side. The overall appearance and the fragrance of the hotel is nice. The bar side during happy hour was pleasant. For dinner we had to wait to be seated, per sign posted with multiple employees walking by before we were acknowledged and seated. After seated we waited again, then finally walked out....

“The Marriott Virgnia Beach Oceanfront was an excellent stay. We were really surprised to get a resort feel while staying at Virginia Beach. There was really no need to leave the resort area unless to eat at local restaurants or sight see. The hotel overbooked so we were not able to get our balcony room until the second night. That was the only hiccup that we experienced. The rooftop bar/restaurant, Orion, was excellent and the view was breath taking.”

“The property is located in beautiful Williamsburg, on the Chesapeake. We stayed in a 1 bedroom condominium that was very spacious, clean and overall comfortable. There were 2 things that we had a problem with. The bed was uncomfortable, not the worse I have ever slept in but definitely not comfortable and my back hurt in the morning. Also it seems the shower leaked into the place underneath us. Other than those 2 issues it was good. I would recommend it for location and cleanliness. We did not...

“The resort is in need of updating. The problem is maintenance. The front door to my room lock screws came out. I had to screw back in with a dime. The iron board was broke and had to get another one. The kitchen sink had food in it. The microwave light could not be turned off. The floor was dirty in the bathroom and the sitting area. The towels had hair in them and I had to get new towels. The staff is very nice and friendly. You must empty the trash before you leave your room.”
