“Where this place comes up a little short on amenities and updated rooms, it makes up for in location! Right on the beach at the top of the boardwalk, walking distance to several decent dining and nightlife options. Easy parking, friendly staff, and free breakfast was fine for the price!”

“Very nice and clean. The beds in our room were not the greatest. They were way too soft. Mattress topper would not stay on the bed. I didn’t particularly like the parking arrangements but that is an individual preference. ”

“Breakfast was very disappointing. Little:no good when we went to real fast room (it was only about 815) and the staff tried very hard to keep up was not able to. Are dry cereal w/o milk as news it was never filled again. No fresh fruit, most hot item containers empty for the entirety of our breakfast. Coffee and juice was available, but no real food.”

“I can get nit picky but I'm not going to. For the money this was a very quiet stay in a clean room with excellent owners who are super friendly. My only critiques are please have an outlet near the side of the bed to charge my phone and to offer stream service to log into rather than cable TV. The lights outside our room were so bright that my room never got dark and it made it difficult to sleep. I would stay here again when passing through Norfolk.”

“It was pretty good, nothing crazy. The staff was nice and breakfast was good. The no door on the shower was weird because water got everywhere. Probably would pick a different hotel next time due to flies being everywhere. I mean everywhere, dead and alive.”

“I stay here a lot. The traveling band I play with plays in OBX much of the summer.Rooms are always clean and comfortable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is good for someone looking to spend time on the beach. The free breakfast is always a good way to start the day. I will continue to stay here as long as I visit the OBX.”

“This place was a great find. Looks to be an older building that's renovated and everything was very clean and had nice touches through out. There was a broom for sweeping sand up. The front desk was friendly and available for help. We got a snack of caramel corn upon checkin. There's a water spout for rinse off after the beach. The beach wasn't too crowded. “Front desk staff was great. Friendly, helpful, and efficient. Parking was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Only drawback was the pool didnt appear to be maintained to the same standard. Breakfast was much more than we expected. Bacon, eggs, waffles, a selection of cereals, yogurt, juices in addition to sweet rolls, coffee, tea and hot chocolate.”
