“We were provided dirty towels and the staff were unfriendly except for the Indian man, he was great. ”

“Such an incredible experience. The energy around the game and the whole Ice District was amazing. We even had some unexpected run-ins with some of the Colorado team at the hotel, and the players and staff we met were incredibly kind and polite. It made the whole trip feel even more special—definitely something I won’t forget.”

“Stay was great! Awesome room comfortable bed and couch. Only frustration was trying to find the light switches in a dark room. And realizing there wasn’t any. Just manual lamp switches. lol so just confusing at first. Also took a bit to figure out fireplace. Would be a good idea to put room operating information in a booklet, that said we did not call front desk to ask as that would have been to easy. Will stay again and you should too!”

“Parking when checking in is congested and difficukt to access. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was nice but pricey. Wish there were more amenities surrounding the hotel. Restuarant is in the open right in the front lobby and is awkward if you don't get a table away from everyone. ”

“Access to the front lobby is complicated to find, the parkade is open and anyone can walk into it.”

“Very loud guests shouting at each other at 2 am in the morning. Could not sleep. Renovation also did not help with noises in the morning.”

“Clean hotel, comfortable sleep. They have a lovely restaurant according to the menu, but I do wish it was more inclusive to dietary restrictions, such as celiac disease. I had to uber in food because there was nothing celiac friendly on the menu that was also pescatarian/vegetarian. Other than that, the staff were friendly. Wondering why I haven't received the remaining deposit back after the one night stay (aside from the parking), as I only slept in the room for 6 hours and used nothing else....

“This is a great property and I have stayed here before. The hot tub could use some attention as the bottom and seats have debris which needs to be vacuumed out. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly and welcoming, the property was clean and the rooms spacious.”

“The rooms are very basic, clean, comfortable bed, very affordable with restrooms and showers down the hall. If you simply require a place to sleep in the Whyte Ave. neighbourhood, the Commercial is a good option. The historic pub downstairs is a bonus. Lots of dining spots within a couple of blocks, plus the nearby Farmers Market, bookshops, and many great local businesses. ”
