“The Cottage on the Kennebec is exactly as advertised. We explored the area (Houston Brook Falls, Moxie Falls, and Jackman Trading Post are highly recommended!), but spent a lot of time just enjoying the property kayaking, grilling, sitting by the river, playing games, and using the fire pit. Mike and Kim were very friendly and made us feel welcome while respecting our privacy.”

We love that the property has kayaks for us to use. The spacious screened in porch was a favorite place to view the fascinating habits of the loons as well as sunsets and even moonsets.
