“I loved it! I used this as a base camp to go hiking in Acadia NP, and it was perfect for that, but I also could have spent my entire two days at the property and been very content. As it was, I slept deeply on my air mattress in the loft and watched the beautiful sunrises while sitting at the shore and while eating breakfast at the table inside. “Everything was perfect for us at this great property. The location is right on the harbor with views that never end. I rented with the plan of painting the scenery right from the property, it couldn't have been better. Very quiet and relaxing spot, we even had an eagle in the backyard. The house is cozy and comfortable, and we enjoyed the deck facing the water. Definitely want to plan to come back soon. ”

“A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase...

“This is terrific place for a visit old Orchard Beach. Great location and the unit is modern and very comfortable. I highly recommend it and will be back. “What a Gem! The yurt was great, comfortable and relaxing. We stayed here for our 20 year anniversary. Had all our needs met and the owner communication was great and quick! I do however have to say this and I am not sure anything can be done about it. There were many spiders I had to kill in our stay. I know we're in the woods and It might be hard to control the pest situation but it was alittle unnerving with the amount of spiders we had to kill.With that said I would still choose to stay here...

“WOW, UTTERLY PERFECT!! I couldn't have found a better house. Private and cozy cabin right on the water with ample space, updated rooms and amenities, pristine landscaping, its own dock, kayaks, and fire pit. House was spotless and has everything that you need. “We had such a wonderful week at the cottage! It was very comfortable, clean and well stocked. Having Branch Lake a few steps from the house was amazing. We swam and canoed several days and explored Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Of course, we couldn’t miss the popovers at the Jordan Pond House. We loved the cottage (as well as Maggie from next door) and hope to return. ”

“Angelic and private cottage / camp. Great views of the lake. Perfect for my wife and i . Home was clean and close to restaurants/ activities. Abundance of wild life and was a relaxing stay. The only drawback is the home sits at bottom of hill on the lake resulting in a lot of stairs to traverse to get to the home . Otherwise perfect for what were looking for .”

"La camera viene rifatta solo se richiesto, al check-in non siamo stati informati pertanto quando siamo rientrati era ancora in disordine. Le stanze sono datate, mobili con segni di usura, aria condizionata e frigo rumorosi. La colazione è per lo più fatta con alimenti confezionati “non buoni”, i muffin freschi sono l’unica cosa mangiabile anche se industriali. Per arrivare in centro sono necessari 5 minuti di macchina, 20/25 a piedi, la struttura è alla periferia di Bar Harbor. Onestamente per il prezzo di circa $380 al giorno ho trovato il servizio e la struttura scadenti."
