The house itself is spacious and comfortable, with an unusually well-equipped kitchen for a rental and a large, covered back deck where we ate dinner and watched the sun set across the pond almost every night. “So quiet but pretty close to shops. The camp has all needed amenities. Sunsets were unreal right from the deck. We swam right off the dock. Kayaks were a bonus. The screened porch is perfect for curling up with a book and listening to the loons. The high speed internet made it so I could work from there which I had to during the week. Ideal camp.”

“The property is very nice. It's good the advertisement states there are 2 flights of stairs to climb. Probably only an issue for older folks like us, but we were aware and accepted it beforehand. The Internet wasn't working initially, but Garret got it all fixed within 24 hours. It was central to all the places we wanted to visit in the Marranacoock lake region.”

“We stayed at this home while in town for Maine 70.3. The location was great. Winthrop is a cute little town. Home was close to two beautiful lakes. The backyard was very peaceful, right next to a stream. The home was well appointed and had everything we needed. The communication with the host was great.”
