Perfect place for a quiet stay

World Youth Roughstock Finals

In town from Oklahoma, as my grandson qualified for his second rough stock finals in Abilene. Cute cottage with pool access and outdoor seating ( we enjoyed our morning coffee by the pool ). Communication with owner was received in timely manner with all inquiries addressed. Host was present and graciously accommodated my grandchildren with items to enjoy in the pool. Cottage was very clean and decorated very stylish. Area is quiet. We love animals and enjoyed loving on Major, the cat, as well as Molly & Clancy- the canine greeting crew! Everyone enjoyed cooling off in the pool, especially the grandchildren. We plan to stay again next year.

Pool House, home away from home

My family enjoyed having a place to just be while visiting family in Abilene. My husband worked during the day from the pool house, while me and my daughter spent time with family. It was great to be in the country and be so close to a city at the same time. We had privacy but had quick easy communication for anything we needed. I miss being greeted by Major the cat now that I’m home.

Comfortable and Charming!

We had a wonderful time at the cozy and charming Pool House. A comfortable bed, a beautifully decorated living space, and a kitchen & bathroom stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay was provided by Heather. Her and her family were also such amazing hosts, they made us feel like family! Being able to use the large inground pool during some very hot days in Texas was a huge bonus to our booking, Heather even encouraged us to invite our family, who live in the area, over for a swim. We were able to relax in the peaceful country setting, and we were even lucky enough to hold some baby chicks that were new to their household! The whole experience made this one of our most favorite bookings!

Mini Getaway

Heather and her husband were beyond accommodating, very friendly and communicative. They made sure we had everything we needed while still respecting our privacy. The property itself is a fully equipped lovely little pool house set in the scenic country. It was clean, warm and welcoming with the cutest decor. The horses are beautiful to watch, and the other animals kept us company while we were spending time outside. We are animal lovers so this was an added bonus for us - plus they were all loving and well behaved, especially around our 4 year old son. If you aren’t comfortable around animals, I’m sure they would figure something out so they weren’t in your way. The pool is a great size, about 5 FT deep, nice and cold. My four year old was a last minute surprise on this trip, so when I messaged Heather to apologize and let her know we’d pay extra, she insisted it was fine and there would be no added charge. For the price, the hospitality, and the amenities- I would definitely recommend this little getaway to anyone needing to stay in the Abilene area. Thank you so much for everything Heather & Buddy!

Amazing

Place was immaculate! It eas so clean and sheets and towels smelled so good! Beautiful pool view. She had breakfast food and snacks for us. Was able to park under carport out of the weather. I could go on and on!!! We both really enjoyed our stay, was very comfortable!

Quiet, comfortable retreat

This was the quiet, retreat I needed on a trip that was not for fun. The bed is extremely comfortable, and I slept well every night. The kitchen was well equipped and stocked with coffee. Heather is a marvelous host, with fast, easy, friendly communication. It’s a 10-20 minute drive to Abilene depending on where you’re going, but that’s not too bad. And the stars at night are worth it

We loved this place. The sun rises and sun sets will not disappoint. The pool house was super clean and very well maintained. Check in and out process was very easy. Loved that Major the cat kept us company!

This property was very peaceful, clean, and comfortable. The pool was well taken care of. The animals were nice to watch grazing. Everything we needed while there was available. It gave us the opportunity to rest and relax...swim if we wanted too and enjoy the farm animals...a definite place to go in the country...hosts were professional and friendly...we had an awesome stay, will be back!
