“The “cottage” was definitely not as advertised. It was rated well, which is very deceiving. It was dirty, dilapidated and the shower was something out of a horror movie. Mold had taken over. Expedia and VRBO should take a good hard look at how they vet their listed properties. But that was the good part. Approximately 11 pm, there was a knock at the front door. There were 3 gangbangers standing there expecting us to let them in. I yelled “occupied” out the door, they mumbled something and left....

“While the house was a little dated we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It provided ample space for our family. The kids enjoyed the games downstairs and running around in the spacious yard. We would rent again if the need arises. ”

“Honest review - check in process was easy - property manager was responsive - House was adequate for our needs with pretty nice beds working shower and was fairly clean place nothing of great concern for a group of buddies on a hunting trip…but our wives would probably have been upset. Sadly it’s missing many simple items that leave the experience incomplete - I literally had to go buy skillets and baking pans and utensils so we could use the full kitchen and make food in/on the stovetop and...
