Bayview Bruny Island

Una casa sulla spiaggia recentemente rinnovata in una posizione elevata incastonata nella terra della boscaglia con viste meravigliose sull'avventura della baia di avventura e sul parco nazionale di South Bruny.

La casa sulla spiaggia ha tre camere da letto, due con letti queen size. L'altro con una combinazione a castello doppia / singola. Questa camera ha anche un letto estraibile con materasso a molle singole per ospitare un ottavo ospite.

Questa camera offre anche una selezione di giochi da tavolo / di carte per i bambini.

L'accesso ad alcune camere può essere limitato a seconda del numero di ospiti per ogni prenotazione. Purtroppo abbiamo dovuto implementarlo a causa dell'uso di biancheria, restrizioni sull'acqua e prenotazioni inaccurate.

Vengono forniti lenzuola e asciugamani. Si prega di notare che non forniamo teli da mare.

La cucina è ben attrezzata con tutto l'essenziale tra cui padella elettrica, sandwich, macchina da caffè Delonghi Nespresso ecc.

Fornito di tè, caffè, zucchero e dispensa limitata. I cereali per la colazione sono inclusi. Non forniamo pane o latte.

La zona giorno è dotata di un nuovissimo televisore da 55 ".

All'esterno troverete un nuovissimo barbecue a gas sul ponte insieme a una griglia vecchio stile e un'amaca sulla terrazza erbosa.

Abbiamo wallaby residenti che vengono ogni pomeriggio alla porta sul retro per essere nutriti e il cibo del wallaby viene lasciato in casa per dar loro da mangiare se lo si desidera.

L'accesso alla proprietà avviene tramite un vialetto rialzato che richiede alcune trattative, ma una volta che sei in cima al vialetto le viste saranno con esso!

Great beach cottage in Adventure Bay, location offered spectacular views and easy access to the Fluted Cape walk. Very quiet location. We had many beautiful encounters with the local Wallabies, we had 2 white ones visit which was a bonus.2 nights was not long enough.

We loved staying here with a deck looking out to the sea.Comfortable beds and all the comforts of home with local wildlife as an added attraction. Will miss the little wallabies that greeted us when we arrived.The driveway was a bit of a challenge for our hire car, but everything else was fantastic.

Idyllic location and nice beach house with great views. We were greeted by wallabies and enjoyed feeding them the wallaby food provided. The house has great access to the beach, walks and boat tour departure area so very handy. Communication wth Andrea was very friendly with an easy check in experience. Only comment would be that there's only one lounge so seating was a bit cosy for four adults. And it's a good idea to bring groceries with you if arriving late. All in all, we had a great stay in Adventure Bay so thanks Andrea!

Actually, we shouldn't be praising this house so much and keep it a bit our secret.We had a wonderful stay in a house that was fantastic in every way.The house was even more than what we expected and is in a beautiful spot with breathtaking views. Everything you need is there. The house is cosily decorated and even the Christmas spirit was thought of.And then of course the wallabies. .......

Absolutely gorgeous property surrounded by amazing views. It was a great opportunity to get close to the wallabies. The house is spacious and has great lighting. Beach was close by and easy to walk to. Andrea was very accommodating when we had an additional guest join us at the last minute, couldn’t be anymore grateful for that. The deck is a great place to watch the stars, we got lucky when we got to see a shooting star. Only thing would have been to extend the stay another day because it was that amazing, I’ll know for next time. Thank you Andrea!

Lovely house with great views but absolutely freezing. Reverse cycle heater in main living area far to small for the job and turned itself off all the time. No heating at all in the bedrooms not even an electric blanket. Night time temperature was 5 degrees Centigrade at this time of year.

We enjoyed Bruny Island immensely. The beach house was well equipped for our needs, plus it is ideally located for the Pennicott cruise base and also for the Fluted Cape walk, both of which we utilised. Loved feeding the local wallabies. The driveway was a challenge but we managed to get our FWD vehicle up safely.

We had a great 3 night stay on Bruny island. The home was very well appointed and was large enough for all 6 of us. My daughter loved feeding the local Wallabies including 2 albino ones. Great location, in adventure bay and very close to Bruny cruises and some great walking trails. The only negative was the drive way was a bit of a challenge for a people mover van.

House was well presented, very clean and well equipped. Amazing view in a fabulous location. Lovely to have the wallabies so up close and personal. Would definitely recommend this house and would definitely visit again if we return to Bruny Island.

Absolutely beautiful location and very peaceful. The house is very clean, tidy, comfortable and well stocked. The wallabies that greeted us at the house were absolutely delightful and super friendly. I wanted to take them all home!! The only downside is the very steep driveway....in the wet a standard car would have no hope of getting up. Just a tiny downer.....overall we'd definitely stay there again if we're lucky enough to get back to Tasmania.

A nice spot at the end of the road at Adventure Bay, Bayview has a nice view and a great deck to hang out on. The three bedrooms are comfortable (one bed has exceptionally noisy springs and should be replaced), and the lounge and dining area fine for 4 people comfortably. There's a good sized TV, but most of the DVDs are kids movies so bring a few DVDs. Telstra data is available, but we found it too slow for Netflix (or Disney+ or Prime or catchup TV). There are lots of wallaby's and you'll probably see the white wallabies around if you're there a couple of days. We saw lots of birds, including an owl one evening as well. Four adults for four nights was ok, but the kitchen isn't really set up for multiple days of meal cooking; there aren't any pasta/eating bowls, the knives and utensils are very average, and the stove is temperamental. The property lacked enough t-towels and there wasn't sufficient toilet paper for 4 adults for 5 days. While we understand garbage is an issue on Bruny, we couldn't find any extra garbage bags so the bin was smelly after a few days. Both TV and DVD remotes need new batteries (we searched, couldn't find any) and it was great to have nespresso pods, but 8 pods for 4 adults over 5 days was a little stingy. You'll note I have given the property 4 stars, and I think if the owners spent a bit of time thinking about how a group of adults would use the house and provisioned accordingly it could be one of the best places to stay in Adventure Bay.
