“This property was beautiful, quiet and the staff is amazing. Its a little drive to Hilo but worth it. So much to see and do in the area. They also have a book in the room that is a wealth of information about the area. It is available to buy and we advise to get a copy. We highly recommend cottages to anyone traveling to the area. ”

“We were delighted with Honoka'a and enjoyed an evening at a ranch west of Waimea, day trips to Kona, Hilo, a tropical garden, Hilo Farmer's market, and Captain Cook monument (for two of us hikers). The accommodations were great for 6 adults. Also enjoyed the oranges off the tree in the backyard.”

“This is our second time staying at this lovely property. We came over from Kona side for World Sprints time trials for outrigger canoe and it’s the perfect spot for resting and relaxing after a long day of paddling. So cozy and peaceful. The hosts are so gracious, the accommodations well thought out and the hot tub is the icing on the cake. This is now our go-to spot when staying over this side. Looking forward to our next visit. “This property is “ off the grid” for sure !! once you make it up the steep bumpy driveway you’re greeted by this amazing 12 sided little house ,…as you open up the top floor’s door you are greeted with this mind boggling ceiling !!! “My husband, five year old and I stayed here for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful open floor plan, artistic decor with big slider windows leading out to the patio. At night there was a wonderful cross breeze and sounds of geckos and coqui frogs floating on that breeze. It was in a convenient spot, not directly in town but close enough to go out for food, drinks, beaches, etc. The owners were kind and quiet.
