“The hotel may have rebranded to the Southeast Resort, but it is an old hotel. The refrigerator shell was broken. The room just looked tired. The elevator was extremely slow. The bathtub wasn't really clean and there was someone else's long hair clinging to the shower curtain, yuck. On the positive side the bed was quite comfortable, and the hotel location is right by downtown and close to tourist areas.”

“The room was clean, the bed comfortable and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We would definitely stay there again when we return to Skagway.”

“Room was clean and check in was fine. No coffee or cups in the room. Hot cold switched in bathroom sink and the tub filled with water while showering. Seems to be going backwards as I’ve stayed here multiple times. The Expedia site says all fees covered in the price, that is not the case. Was charged a fee on check in. Had to add a night on top of the 4 days I was there and was charged 70.00 over the Expedia price… hope the new owners get it together.”

“The lodge was wonderful and we had a beautiful view of the ocean from our room. We also appreciated the laundry facilities. However, when we first arrived, there two very unfriendly (bordering on rude) employees at the front desk. The person on the desk later was much better.”

“Comfy country inn style property comes with delicious cook to order breakfast and driver to drop you off at nearby locations, staff were friendly and helpful.”

“There was basically no breakfast tho it was advertised as offering breakfast. There were some things available - very limited and you had to pay for them. The rooms were clean but extremely small for the price. The staff was very helpful. The TV in the lobby was set to Trump giving a speech, which is their right and, perhaps we should all sit and watch our president when he speaks publicly, but given the current divided country, probably made some people very uncomfortable. Good location in...

“It was a good stay”

“Hotel was near restaurants. The room smelled bad. No screen on fourth story window. The dead bolt did not lock. I was not able to take a shower because the part to pull out of the faucet was missing. I did not want to hang out at the hotel at all. I will not stay there again.”

“The staff was extremely helpful and personable. The room was clean and comfortable having a washer and dryer in it. The facility is dated in the hallway and the furniture is old, dented and scratched. The gym was tiny and we shared a queen size bed for there’s no King size available. The location is great for there’s a park close by with a long walkway along the water to downtown.”
