La cabina di Jay e Jill è il modo perfetto per vivere il Montana. Questa lussuosa cabina situata sul fiume Clark Fork si trova a soli 20 minuti dall'aeroporto internazionale di Missoula. La proprietà si estende su 5 acri di pinete e abeti e si trova in posizione centrale rispetto a tutte le attività all'aperto che il Montana ha da offrire a breve distanza nel cuore del centro di Missoula. Eccellente accesso per la pesca al fiume Clark Fork. Petty Creek, Fish Creek e Nine Mile Creek sono a pochi minuti da casa o utilizzare il varo della barca alla fine della strada (2 miglia) per un facile accesso ai vari tratti del fiume Clark Fork. Wow did we enjoy our stay at this property! I booked this property because the listing looked good online, however there was a major wow factor when we actually walked into the cabin. The view from the master bedroom loft was incredible. My husband and I loved relaxing in bed in the morning. Our 2 sons shared the room with the bunkbed and there was more than enough privacy. The basement has a TV where my husband enjoyed watching football, which did not interfere with me enjoying the breathtaking views from the porch. Our first evening there we saw the northern lights! There is definitely a property I recommend and plan to return to at some point.

We stayed here for a weekend with our family and it was great! The view on the patio was amazing! The cabin was in a very private, peaceful location. We would definitely recommend it!

The views were amazing! It was quiet and peaceful! Wildlife was beautiful (bald eagle, turkey, & bunnies)! Nice place for a family as there are 2 living areas with a game table! Hosts were very available for questions! Thank you for sharing your home!

Great location, wonderful views. Easy drive in, some wildlife sightings along the way. Great view off the deck. Kitchen met our needs. Easily accommodated 4 seniors plus another room with bunks if youre bringing kids/teens. Definitely a rustic feel, comfortable, relaxing. Convenient to Missoula and easy drive from the airport. We were quite satisfied. Thanks guys!

We came to help our son pack up his dorm for the summer and stayed in this lovely cabin. The host, Jill, was very friendly and responded promptly to messages. I especially loved the scrapbook and back story of the cabin her and her husband built themselves as young 20 somethings. It is obvious that the cabin was a labor of love. That said, it has some quirks, but that only adds to the character of the home. I LOVED the view from the back deck and the wedge windows. It was so fun for the kids to see the deer and wild turkeys that roamed around the grounds. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful Montana scenery. The kitchen had a good assortment of basic necessities and all the appliances were in good condition. The bathrooms were well stocked, and the cabin was nice and clean upon our arrival. The only notable downsides were the creaky floors (but hey, it's wood), and the stairs. Oh, the stairs. They're steep! If everyone in your party is young(ish) and agile, this is a great place to stay. If you have someone who'd have trouble navigating the stairs it might not be for you. In all, this was a wonderful property and we would love to stay again in the future. On a side note, the nearest store is a good 25+ minutes away, so plan accordingly.

Location on the river is inconsequential. River not accessible from the property. Views of butte and mountains was relaxing. Kitchen well supplied with cooking gear. Gas range is on propane and cooks hotter than natural gas. Lightning is a bit challenging. There is a flashlight beside the sink. Stairway is not a standard rise/run. Could be challenging for smaller children and adults with motor issues Beddiing was comfortable and in good condition. We arrived st the end of an unusually hotter week but with fans and windows were able to cool down at dusk. Some wild turkeys and chipmunk are in the area.

We stayed for a couple nights as we were attending a wedding. If I had the trip to do all over again I would have stayed at this place for a week or longer. It was so peaceful and the views are to die for…. We had a great time and wished it was longer!

Spectacular view and good location if attending a wedding at White Raven. That’s about all the good I have to say. This is one of those properties where you get a laundry list of jobs during checkout. After hauling all the towels and sheets to the dingy basement laundry room and cleaning - to what we thought was an adequate level for a guest and not a professional cleaning team - we accidentally left 1 of our recycling bags inside the front door. I was later called by the host and reprimanded for leaving the recycling and not cleaning to Jill’s level of cleanliness. She was rude and accusatory and completely unprofessional. The floor creaks and it’s obnoxious, the shower pressure in the basement is non existent. The bath down there had old water in it when we got there as well. We had to go buy paper towels because there were none. Although there were body wash and shampoo bottles in the shower, bring your own because they were empty. We had to wash dishes before using them and the oven was so dirty that any time we turned it on the whole cabin filled with smoke. My elderly aunt stayed with us and she could not do either set of stairs. Definitely don’t stay here is you are traveling with an older crowd. Listed as a lot per night but with host fee, service fee, cleaning fee it was over a grand for 2 nights. Not worth the price. Stay here if you want a rustic visit but don’t forget to bring your mop and latex gloves!

Wonderful stay, Jill was easy to communicate with, and gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations. Her and her families cabin is exactly what we were looking for; beautifully off the beaten path without being too far from the main hub. Excellent place to stay and operate around. Would stay again! The downstairs sliding glass door & the cold water faucet in the bathtub were inoperative. The exposed light bulbs had no lampshade, the downstairs bath barn door had no handle on the inside.

The cabin was very clean and cozy. It was an easy drive with great directions. One thing to note is that the bunk beds are on the main floor. My elderly mother slept in the bottom bunk and bragged on how comfortable it was. An added bonus was that her grandson slept on the top bunk, so they had a little slumber party. I would highly recommend Jay and Jill’s cabin.

Beautiful Hand Built Cabin. The view of the Clark Fork River is amazing. The property is gorgeous and perfectly remote. Fly Fishing is 5 mins away! We all really enjoyed our stay.

Be prepared to be off of the beaten path. You will need to be ready to do some driving to get to any normal conveniences but then this is why you come here. Weather was a bit dreary until the last day but we made the best of it. Would definitely stay here again but would be better prepared.

We had a family wedding nearby and rented this for a sister and grandma and great aunt to stay. This worked out great. We were even able to drop off some food for the wedding and put in the fridge early. That was really helpful. The cabin was beautiful and clean. It was even better than the pictures! We would definitely recommend this cabin and would stay again.
