“This place was okay- it served our needs. A few complaints- generally a dingy smell throughout the house, felt damp. The bathroom shower curtain has no liner so the curtain itself was very moldy. The grass wasnt mowed so I worried about ticks. The water tasted a little musty too but maybe thats just a Maine thing? Also the communication was pretty terrible with both the vrbo host and the property management company and I had a lot of trouble contacting them and getting the receipts I needed....

“The property is very close to I 95 making it very convenient to commute to portland. It is close to a grocery store. It was clean and the pictures were accurate. Our family of 6 had a nice stay.”

“Some major and some minor problems with this spot.The cookware is garbage, you can not cook on the completely trashed nonstick surfaces. And prep is difficult with dull knives.The cleaning was very bad. We found old socks crusted with lint and hare under an automin, hare in the bed, floors hary, hare on the shelves! Piles of dead bugs on the window cils. The lights were strange with some lamps not plugged in, and nowhere to plug them in? The floaties, tubes, and boards were strewen about the...

“We had a great time at the lotus! All the amenities were perfect for unwinding after a day at the lake and the botanical gardens. Rudy the black cat visited. Our daughter called him her "vacation kitty" and he was her favorite part of the trip by far!”

“This little house was absolutely charming! The owners were very accommodating and flexible with our dates and last minute booking. The house is incredibly cozy and the outdoor porch was a big hit. The location of this house is also amazing as you have access to the ocean, marsh and a beautiful pond. E would love to return with our grandkids who would love it! Thank you Shannon and Jim for sharing your special house with us!”
