Vecchio casermone con una vista stupenda
Di 5 stelle ha solo la posizione e la visuale (che non è poco). Per il resto è un buon 3 stelle. Stanze vecchie e non pulitissime. Bella la piscina.

Thank you Grand Muchu Oura View Club. For a pleasant stay and enjoyable holiday. I got in contact with the hotel prior to arriving as our flight arrived in Faro early in the morning. This was excellently acknowledged and our early check into the hotel was fully accomodated. My travelling party needed the extra support and this was honoured by the reception team. Communication with the hotel upon arrival and throughout our stay was very pleasant. Even when we had issues with the light in the room, it was promptly dealt with. Ok, food options were slightly limited but we had 5 different restaurant options which meant we were not bored. The location is fab and met our needs. Cleaning was on point and staff were very accomodating. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks again. 😊

Positives: * We cannot fault the reception staff, they were all so helpful & friendly. Exactly what you would hope for. * The restaurants offsite just near the beach are great! Negatives: * On the first few days despite paying for all inclusive no food was being served at the hotel. We had to walk to another hotel nearby, I booked all inclusive for convenience and so we could pop down for something to eat when we fancied it. * The buffet was horrendous. None of it seemed to go together to make a meal, I ended up with chips and bread. I did get some chicken wings to go with it, but they were not very nice. * We we’re excited for the speciality restaurants. One night it was raining terribly and the man seeing us in basically told us off being late, was very rude and then proceeded to just put food on the table and walk off without speaking to us. The speciality restaurants were all in the Mexican and out of the same kitchen. You do not choose a meal, you just get given random things on a plate for each course. Eg a starter we were given was Tuna Mayo, mashed potato and potato skins?!! The food was all very bland and not speciality restaurant quality at all. * Due to the inconvenience of food not being available in the hotel and the food not being an enjoyable quality, we paid to eat out twice every day and ordered in groceries to make our own breakfast. So a total waste of money paying for all inclusive. * The place is very run down, but could be beautiful.

The whole hotel was cold. Noise levels in rooms high, from both the halls and construction. Anything wood was broken and dirty.

Grand Muthu Oura Hotel stay
Hotel room larger than normal with great views. Only downside is that there were no usb sockets. BUT cannot criticise too much. Breakfast lovely and surroundings were great. Pool was large and area clean. Only there for a long weekend, but we had good weather in between minor drops of rain. Look forward to staying there again

Great stay
We had a lovely break, the rooms are a bit dated but pleasant and clean. The bed was super comfy and the room had everything we needed (iron and board was in there too) The pool is lovely, couple of slides to play on. Would definitely return

Hotel is advertised as a 5* but it’s a 2/3*
Overall impression of hotel was not good. Only 1 lift working, décor was tatty & dated, rooms very old fashioned, beds very uncomfortable, pool too small for hotel capacity, noise from rooms above very loud, the cleaners don’t clean kitchen items, location is close to lively part with nightclubs/bars, pool/beach towels available but you have to pay to rent them & leave a deposit (most 4/5* hotels give you a card to exchange for a towel). Negative points wouldn’t be an issue if the hotel wasn’t listed as 5* Room was very old & unpleasant to stay in. We decided to stay in a villa after one night here, so we asked reception to cancel cleaners, we put the “do not disturb” sign on our door, and left for 4 nights, intending to return on our last night before departure. We never told anyone at the hotel that we were leaving. We arrived back at our room a few days later, there were other guests in it. We were told at reception that we checked out, and said we were going back to England, we did not. The receptionist was so rude, I couldn’t believe how I was being spoken to. I asked her to contact the employee who said we left or a manager. She phoned someone & then said they had another room for us, I asked what had happened, & she snapped “I’ve told you what happened, I don’t know who is lying but do you want this new room or not?” I asked for my deposit back for the beach towels and gave her the receipt showing we were owed £40, she tried to give me €40, maybe a mistake.

Nice stay
Hotel was nice enough but the restaurants being in another place was not clearly advertised and when bookings were tried they were always full. Only other criticism is that the vodka which was a house vodka tasting like petrol.

This was the perfect spot to get away and relax. There are several great food options, a well-stocked kitchen, an awesome pool, and beautiful beaches. The staff members were very polite and helpful with any questions we had.

Room is very good, but looking out the balcony there is swimming shorts, a bandage and other assorted refuse on the roof. Pool has to be booked for some reason. Lounge is cool looking, but closed early.

Great place to stay, with plenty of attractions.
Great location with nearly all rooms having a south facing view (sun all day). Very clean, friendly staff, cleaned every day. Just guests above dragging furniture around, can be a bit noisy, due to tiled floors.

Overpriced. Old, smelly, dirty hotel. We stayed in 10 hotels of different areas in Portugal during our 2 weeks trip across the country. It is the worst place in terms of property condition and price.

Horrible ! À fuir ! Personnel désagréable pas accueillant. On vous demande 100€ de caution à l'arrivée alors que ce n'est pas mentionné sur le site. Chambre salle. La salle de bain a des robinets affreux. On comprend pas comment cet établissement a pu avoir 5 étoiles. Sol de la piscine extérieure non entretenue. Vous y retrouver pleins de saletés.

So I book this as it stated 5 star, I would say at best it’s a 3 star property, the place is run down especially the rooms, the room I had was totally in need of a renovation, I think it’s totally wrong to advertise this hotel as 5 star as it really is not, also the dinning area for breakfast need insector gadgets and the food needs to be undercover as there was so many flies in the place. On the plus side the staff were very nice and helpful.
