“We have stayed here before and as last time, it was perfect. Charles is a wonderful host and when we turned up late on a Sunday evening with few local dining opportunities, he created a delicious platter of cheeses and meats for us, including an aged Brillat-Savarin that was just divine. He helped us get away for the channel crossing on time by accommodating us a bit early for breakfast. The room (Reims) was very comfortable, with a shower and bath. Highly recommended.”

“Siamo arrivati la sera e le Chateau d'Etoges era illuminato, impressione magica! Ottimo il servizio, hanno ricariche per auto elettriche, meglio prenotare per la ricarica. L'Atelier d'Etoges, la brasserie (non il ristorante principale) esperienza deludente per essere in Champagne che ha una tradizione di cucina eccellente. Cibo pre-preparato e riscaldato niente cotto al momento. Consiglio di guidare 13km (cosi ci hanno detto all'Hotel) e trovare un bistrot di qualita'!”

“This property is two rooms next to a small hotel. There is no check-in desk, instead you are meant to fill in an online form and let them know your arrival time. We hadn't seen that instruction, and nobody answered when we phoned the number on the door at 8pm. Luckily a local was passing and was able to help contact the hotel and get us in.
