“We did not know what to expect from this hotel but were very surprised by the cool vibe of the hotel. We knew we had arrived due to the big plane in the front of the property, with a Q on the tail. The front desk greeted us, looked up our reservation and offered to show us some other rooms. Some of the rooms have unusual jacuzzi/hot tubs and the one we reserved had an old copper cheese boiler about 4 feet deep. Very cool, but we are both handicapped and there was no way we could get in and out...

“Bed was uncomfortable, almost would have been better to sleep on the floor. I found a dead moth on my bed spread, the toilet wasn’t even bolted to the floor in my room. Breakfast was ok at best, sausage was barely warm along with the sausage gravy. The hallway had a musty smell as well. Overall I was pretty disappointed with my stay”

“The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was cheap. That is what I was looking for. The hotel was dated and the free breakfast was adequate at best. If you are looking for what I was, a clean bed for the night, you will be happy. If you are a bit pretentious, you may want to look elsewhere.”

“I really appreciated the coupon worth $3 that I could use at the bar. The fact that this “remote location,” Belmont is not a big city and is located in a very rural area near Platteville, Wi had a bar, nice looking pool, and a very large and well kept parking lot was very refreshing. I was in the area for a family reunion, and the value and location were perfect for my trip.”
