Vacation in the south!
It was disappointing. We booked a month and would have left sooner if we hadn’t paid. Unfortunately the bathroom fixtures needed repair and should have been looked after before we arrived, not during our stay. I am glad she did finally listen and have the tap replaced. The oven did not work in the stove and needed a repair man. That too was fixed The fridge needs to be replaced and has a leaking problem. The screened in porch needs screening repair. Only three dining chairs for a four guest place. If there were a couple lawn chairs we could have used them for our guests.
I found not enough to work with when staying more than two days. Bedrooms need more light as well as repairs needed on the lamps.
We enjoyed St.Mary’s it’s a lovely little town. Allisa was prompt at replying to her calls but I don’t think she realizes when you invest in a vacation you don’t expect to run into these situations. These problems have been around for a while and need to be addressed. It took the relaxing out of the vacation.
I don’t like complaining about this type of situation and was tempted not to write anything. I had read where someone else complained earlier about the same problems so I thought it had been taken care of as Allisa said she was glad to know of things that were needed.
I wish her well as a landlord. I won’t be back though.
