“We Miamians were unprepared for just how hot it would be in Iseltwald in early July in a heatwave. There was no AC (which is our natural state in the 305) and it took some getting used to but we survived. We came by car and parking was good. The road leading to the hostel (which was more like a driveway) was quite narrow and we were unprepared for it. We would soon learn that narrow streets are common in Europe and everyone is much more courteous that what we are accustomed to. Biggest issue was...

“I was on a graduation event in the morning, no more than one hour past the check out time. They throw all my things left still on the room to a trash bag causing damage to some of my personal things. Total disrespectful staff. Dont stay in this hotel.”

“Pros: clean, free breakfast, close to train station, close to Harder Kulm, river just right outside accessible and teens were able to swim. Cons: restroom and shower room is shared on each floor, sleep on bunk beds, really super hot if u go in the summer, no AC , they don’t provide electric fans in the room, close to train station, so its hard to sleep at night with all the train noise; a friend who stayed with us in the room had rashes all over, not sure if it was from the bed or duvet”
