“We booked a family room for four for one night and had a very pleasant stay. Room and toilet was very clean & most importantly the view from our room was the main attraction! Check in was easy as well, parking was free, breakfast was yummy and homey. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay with no complaints!
It's also a good mid point for Interlaken and Grindewald ”

“Hotel molto comodo per prendere il treno per visitare Zermatt. L’hotel ha delle camere confortevoli ed offre un comodo parcheggio di fronte all’hotel (proprio sotto la stazione). La colazione offre purtroppo poca scelta di dolce perché è più orientata al salato come piace agli europei in generale. Nonostante la vicinanza con la stazione non si viene per nulla disturbati dal transito dei treni. ”

“Wir haben auf einer Motorrad Tour eine Nacht im Hotel Astoria verbracht. Vom Personal wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen. Für die Motorräder gab es einen Platz in der Garage. Wir waren im neuen Anbau des Hauptgebäudes untergebracht. Das Zimmer war hell, sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. L'elemento che lascia un po' perplessi è il prezzo: il costo di una notte è eccessivo. L'albergo in cui abbiamo soggiornato la notte precedente a Berna (sempre in Svizzera) non offriva di meno, ma costava poco più di metà.Grindewald è circondata da bellissime montagne, ma di per sé non ha nessuna bellezza (niente a che vedere con alcuni altri centri montani delle Alpi)....

“We had a beautiful time at Hotel Edelweiss in Wengen. Linda and Tomas were so welcoming and helpful. And the rest of the staff were lovely as well. Our room provided an incredible view and peaceful sleep. The breakfasts were delicious and hearty, fueling us for the day. We were sad to leave but hope to return one day.”

Cet hotel est plutôt un 4 étoiles que 5. Le petit déjeuner est tres décevant est tres éloigné de ce que l'onn trouve habituellement dans un 5 étoiles: menu tres pauvre, service incroyablement lent, mauvaise qualité des plats cuisine (oeufs brouilles secs, pancakes immangeables, ...)
La localisation est parfaite, au bout de la rue commerçante de Gstaad.”

The hotel is in front of Allmendhubel ski lift and 2 min away from Birg/Schilthorn gondola. Couldn't be better placed.

Ha solo un difetto : se desideri un caffè dopo la chiusura della sala colazione devi aspettare l’apertura del bar alle 3 del pomeriggio
Inaudito per un 4 stelle e la signorina capo reception non è stata in grado di soddisfare la nostra richiesta
Comunque consigliabile spero che quando torneremo andrà meglio "
