Hotel vicino a Alstede Farms - Chester

“At first glance we were impressed by the room but that changed the more time we spent in the room. The room hadn’t been really dusted or vacuumed in a while. The vents were coated in heavy layers of dust as well. The mirror in the bathroom was dirty, the two TVs had no remote controls and the creamer in the coffee station were spoiled since they expired 6 months ago.”

“Check-in was quick, and we were asked for a $50 refundable security deposit (booked through Expedia). Parking was plentiful, even during the last weekend of June with a World Cup match nearby. I inspected the room with a UV light, and the bedding was very clean. The bathroom was also clean, though there was a noticeable urine odor upon entering. A better disinfectant or room spray would have helped. The room was quiet with good sound insulation. The gym was limited, with no treadmill....

“I am normally not one to complain about anything however, the hallways and room at this hotel smell like mold and smoke. When we walked into the lobby upon arrival a guest was allowing her dog to urinate on the lobby carpet in front of the front desk rep and nothing was said to the guest. Carpet was never cleaned. Our TV had hardly any service during our stay, Maintenance came up once to fix it and the issue kept occurring. Our room key card had to be reset at least twice a day during our stay...

“The room was clean. It stinks there was no pool for the kids. The staff was nice. The fire alarm did go off our first night there.”

“Housekeeping didn’t change my sheets in the 7 nights I was there. Also never replaced an empty toilet paper holder nor the spare. I had to go to the desk to get some. Had a room at the back of the hotel on the first floor. Whatever was made for breakfast every morning smelled very strong in my room. Also might have a a function and the food smelled super strong. Did not love that at all. Made me nauseous. Staff was nice at the front desk.”

“Quiet I had my dog with me and she was not buttered by anymore which is so helpful when traveling with pets. Very clean and very nice staff especially Beats she was so kind to me and my pupCsnnoli!”

“Hotel and staff were amazing super nice!! Not much to do unless you just want to eat! Restaurants are everywhere but food prices were extremely high to me! But the food was good! There is no pool and really not much else to do.”
