“I was quite disappointed with this accommodation. We were greeted by someone that spoke no english which was quite uneasy seeing as how we just arrived on the island at 6pm (sunset) and wanted to familiarize ourselves with the space. Instead as the sun went down, we were greeted by a guy with a flashlight which seemed to be telling us he was the night guard and told us to yell his name if we heard anything. “Friendly and helpful service from the staff. For example, Laurent at reception organised a walking tour of Maderas volcano for me. The rooms on the first floor with volcano views from the veranda are great - worth paying extra for. Tasty, generous breakfast. Good location, walkable to ferry, and shops and restaurants of Moyogalpa. ”
