Goditi le viste panoramiche sull'idilliaco Lago Quinault mentre fai grigliate sul ponte e rilassati sulla spiaggia privata sul lungomare di 195 'tra gli alberi della Foresta Nazionale Olimpica.

Lo spazio
Questo cottage sul Lago Quinault è a un livello con soffitto a volta in cedro, dettagli in mattoni e stufa a legna indipendente nel soggiorno. Grandi finestre da parete a parete in tutto, con vista sul lago da ogni stanza. Ci sono tre camere da letto ciascuna con un letto matrimoniale. La cucina è completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario e un ampio ponte con griglia a propano. Ho già detto che la sauna al cedro ------- La connessione Wi-Fi è disponibile ma è lenta da 1 5 MB in giù 0,1 in su. È l'unico servizio disponibile nella zona. Non è affidabile e non ci sono rimborsi in caso di problemi di Wi-Fi. Il servizio non è buono come la città a causa della natura remota della foresta pluviale di Quinault. Si prega di essere consapevoli di questo, ma il segnale internet del cellulare e del telefono cellulare è molto buono e veloce per la maggior parte delle aziende, (att 50 MB in giù Vrizon 20 MB in basso T mobil 10 MB in basso)

We enjoyed three excellent days here. This comfortable home was very clean and well organized and but the best part was the lake front location with a great deck and an awesome view. We all agreed that we'd like to return.

Location location location!!! This house has a spectacular view of Lake Quinault and easy access to some lovely walks in Olympic NP. We also could walk a short distance to the lake for water play. The house was quiet and secluded. Per the host’s suggestion we did our grocery shopping in Aberdeen as there are only small stores near the house. While we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and the house was comfortable for five adults and a toddler, the furnishings are old and sparse.

So peaceful

It was so quiet on the lake. A perfect getaway. There were trails nearby and it's only 45 mins away from Kalaloch beach. Check in was super easy.

Beautiful, restful, quiet

Nice layout indoors, kitchen well-stocked with wares and even some seasonings etc. Excellent communication with gracious host. We stayed a week with some significant atmospheric river storms with much rain and wind, and the area lost power twice, but it was restored quite quickly (kudos to Grays Harbor utility) and the host kept us informed. The view of the ever-changing hills and lake is amazing, and the setting incredibly quiet. Because no one was booked for the day we were leaving, the host gifted us a free extra day, which my grad school daughter and partner much appreciated.

Beautiful view

Stunning location and a comfortable place to stay. We enjoyed walking to a national park trail and driving a short distance to national forest trails. The house has a nice layout and a beautiful sauna.

Great value for outstanding view

Grateful for this spacious and comfortable, lakeside accommodation with an outstanding view of Lake Quinault. We loved sitting on the deck watching waterfowl, especially loons at dawn. The main bedroom (double-size bed, but only 1 bedside table and lamp), bathroom, and washer/dryer combo unit were clean and well-maintained. Modern AC controls provided great relief from heat outside. The kitchen appeared clean at first, but needs deep cleaning and some repairs. Décor and furnishings are sturdy, but dated. The property has a modest grassy lawn edged with mature trees, overgrown bushes, many insects, and wild blackberries. I couldn’t find a path to the lake, but immediately west of the property is a boat ramp that provides excellent access. Bring swim shoes to protect your feet from the fist-sized, rough, slippery rocks. I didn’t see any water toys or rescue equipment for guests. So bring your own and assume your own risks. Limited accessibility: guests must use stairs to access the living areas. Not ideally furnished for children under 5. John David provided good communications, easy check-in, off-street parking, and speedy wi-fi. As long as the price for renting the house is comparable to the cost of staying at the Lake Quinault Lodge, we would recommend the property and would return if we are ever in the area again.

Rainforest relaxation

We loved our stay here. Beautiful home with all the amenities. When you walk in, the lake view is breathtaking. We enjoyed exploring the parks in the area as well. The beds were very comfortable and house was very clean. The owner was super kind and we had easy communication with him. It was the perfect place to stay and if we come back this way we will book here again.

Great view, nice leave

Property is nice, great view and private grounds with fire pit. The Diana was nice, good hot water. Some of the windows are old and don’t open well, the kitchen is nice but some cookware was sad and dirty from sitting too long. I would stay here again. If you’re looking for a quiet place to base your adventure from this is it.

A peaceful retreat on the lake

My husband and I enjoyed our stay in John’s home and had a great time exploring the area around the lake. The house was clean, check-in was easy, and John was super responsive to a couple of questions we had. Fantastic lake view. The house was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. The house needs a deep cleaning and repairs and upkeep. It is pet friendly which is a plus. Would stay again.

Beautiful Lake and mountain views

Great house with wonderful views of the lake and mountains. Well set up house with all the amenities. The bald eagle that flew by from time to time made it even better. Moonlight reflections across the lake was also a plus. Near a couple of small grocery stores and several dining options from fancy to plain are another plus. We loved it and would rent again if in the area.

Perfect place to visit ONP

We absolutely loved our stay here. The house was clean and the view on the lake was amazing. The location is perfect to see some of the southern spots of ONP, which there are not a lot of great options for folks to stay close to this area. We are so thankful we could stay here and have a comfortable place to rest. We ate dinner at the lodge, and that was fun to have close by. The host was helpful and responsive. Thanks for a great stay.
