The Menominee river flows along the Menominee Iron Range in Upper Michigan and northeastern Wisconsin, and the impact of these minerals is quite obvious at Dave's Falls, a great set of waterfalls right off of Highway 141 just north of Green Bay. It's a great little hike, but be sure to pack your bug spray, as the mosquitoes are abundant!

The staff were all great and very polite, but the room had a lot of defects... broken sink faucet, the shower was cold and would get very hot, then cold again and couldn't keep a steady temperature, the toilet did not flush well, and the room smelled like old cigarette smoke.
