B&B a Ambleside

“The description said free parking onsite and close to the lake. Neither were true. It took forever to find the place they arranged and it was too far so we had to make our own arrangements. The lake was further than expected but worth the walk. A lovely village, and overall location.”

“Good size, clean and central.”

“Very clean accomodation Room only guest house Centrally located for Ambleside All amenities within walking distance No on site parking but parking provided a short distance away Very close to bus services to explore The Lakes”

“Had a lovely stay in Ambleside and our apartment was really nice. It was close to everything and the car park was just a 2 minute walk away. 10/10”

“Perfect place for a getaway. We were warmly welcomed by the host who straight away recommended places to go for dinner. Our room was lovely with a beautiful view of the countryside. We had a full English cooked for us which was spot on as we departed to climb scafell. We definitely would stay at this hotel again when we next visit the lakes ”

“Charming guest house with friendly staff. Great location.”

“We enjoyed a lot our stay here, Robert and his wife were very nice and gave us a lot of tips for our lakeland adventures. Good location and very good breakfast.”

“There were many issues with our stay here. 1. The owners messed with our stuff while we were out. 2. The toilet could only be flushed about 1x per hour. The owner said this was normal. 3. They do not even serve breakfast much less have a free one. 4. There is no airflow in the rooms and they do not have fans. While this is a relatively cheap place to stay, you will likely pay with a lack of comfort”

“Overall nice room, great location but disappointed with Expedia inflating the price of breakfast. Hotel charge £13pp served at the pub across the road (fab breakfast) we were charged £27pp”
