“The description said free parking onsite and close to the lake. Neither were true. It took forever to find the place they arranged and it was too far so we had to make our own arrangements. The lake was further than expected but worth the walk. A lovely village, and overall location.”

“Lovely B&B with spacious, comfy room & bathroom, all spotless and containing everything we needed. Excellent breakfast with a good selection of bars and restaurants nearby for dinner. Easy walk from here down to Bowness. Easy check-in and advance breakfast ordering system but the icing on the cake were the lovely staff. Advised them we had just got quietly married and got back to find they’d decorated our bed! So sweet ❤️”

The room was compact but had everything we needed and was clean. However, opinions may differ when it comes to the interior design.”
