This property is located about 5 miles from downtown Amherst and 20 minutes from Stevens Point or Waupaca. Soak in the sounds of morning birds at this property. We promise you will love this country charm.

Symco Stay

We stayed here the weekend of The Symco Weekender. This house was approximately 25 minutes away from the Thresheree grounds. 3 adult males stayed. We pretty much just laid our heads and showered in the mornings. There was 1 bedroom, and a couch. We also found an air mattress, so we were good on sleeping arrangements. Overall, it was exactly what we needed. Thanks again!

Overall it is a quiet nice house around a 15 minute ride to the town of Amherst where you can find a grocery store and a few bars/restaurants. A few things my wife and I disliked. No glassware/wine glasses. May need to replace the coach. The current one you sank to the floor. A sleeper sofa would be great and you can add the amount of people staying there. Shower door had excessive soap scum. Did not provide a sponge/scrubber to wash dishes. Had a big front and back yard. It would be nice to have a fire pit, picnic table and yard chairs to enjoy the evening. The house had a large storage of fire wood which could be used. We knew ahead of time there was no WiFi but it would be nice to have WiFi with a smart TV to stream our services. Outdoor and indoor games would of been a bonus (croquet set, cornhole, etc.). It was like they did not want us to use the back yard due to lack of seating/fire pit. We also knew ahead of time there was no outdoor grill but it would of been great given the large back yard (but then again no fire pit, etc.). Would we stay there again...No, due to its location being so remote and the inability to utilize the back yard due to lack of facilities.
