“The staff at the Alder is above and beyond! Roomy rooms. One pointer. Ask for a room that doesn’t face front. There is a home full of roosters across the street and you get woken up at 5 a.m. or better yet bring a sound machine!”

“Very cute hotel but there was no elevator, the a/c unit was noisy and parking was difficult. I know the climate was the cause but there were many gnats in the room and lobby:bar.”

“The property is in a great location! The trolley stop is right out front, and Magazine St. is a short walk (a few blocks). There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast is more of a coffee and bagel stop. Although there were hard boiled eggs and yogurt available, I wouldn't call this a buffet under any circumstances. Personale incredibilmente gentile e disponibile, se avete un auto a noleggio c'è il parcheggio al coperto incluso. Non riesco a trovare un difetto. Il prezzo è largamente al di sotto della qualità. “The staff was definitely the best part of our stay, the rooms were fine, we had no issues but we were hoping for a little more special decor or something to match the extraordinary prices (though we know Jazz Fest means $$$). For the money we could have stayed at many other high end places-the staff was excellent. Not sure I’d make a special point to return but no major complaints.”

“Our bed was comfortable. Bedding and towels were crispy white. Lots of fluffy towels including several face cloths. The room was updated with a cute, red refrigerator and lamps with USB-C outlets by the bedside. We were in room 2, close to the office. Despite the immediate proximity to so much, it was much quieter than I expected.
