“WATER EMERGENCY. Located on the edge of town with short walk to anything needed. I booked a 2 night stay, but only stayed one night because I became aware of an island-wide water emergency during the stay. The bathroom smelled terrible. Not sure if this was related to the water emergency or not. This was not communicated in the listing or check in instructions. Only when specifically asked about it did the property manager say the water was safe for hygeine, which contradicted local reports...

“Room was brand new and spotless but some improvements could be made with communication and booking issues. I paid for my booking in full and just hours before I arrived for check in I was told that I would not be provided with check in details until I paid in full. This situation was extremely stressful. “Very nice apartment in a great location close to beach. Great design, comfortable bed, felt luxury. I don't exactly like hotels where there is remote receptionist and you can just use codes. On day2 I could not get into my room as the lock didn't work anymore and had to wait an hour until somebody came and got me in the room. That was unpleasant and hotel did not express much apologies. ”
