Unica casa che si affaccia pascoli privati ​​charme vicino a Amsterdam

La nostra casa si trova in campagna su una diga vicino al pittoresco fiume "Het Gein". Un tipico olandese circostante dove potrete andare in bicicletta e camminare. In estate si può nuotare nel fiume Het Gein.
Amsterdam è molto vicina: con una bici ci vogliono 5 minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana Gein, che vi porta in 20 minuti al centro di Amsterdam. Con una macchina si può guidare a 5 minuti dalla stazione della metropolitana di P + R di Gaasperplas o per la stazione ferroviaria Abcoude. E in 15 minuti si guida al centro di Amsterdam.
Perché la nostra casa si trova così in posizione centrale, tutte le grandi siti turistici si trovano a un'ora di auto, come ad esempio Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans, Haarlem, Volendam, Marken, L'Aia, Hoge Veluwe, Utrecht e la 'Venezia del Nord': Giethoorn ecc ecc .

Il padiglione della nostra azienda, che è stato costruito nel 1865, è situato a soli 200 metri dal confine con la città di Amsterdam. Al primo piano ci sono 2 camere da letto ciascuna con una singola stanza da bagno, c'è un soggiorno e una grande cucina con tavolo da pranzo. Le porte a soffietto, si raggiunge il grande giardino privato che offre una vista panoramica sui pascoli circostanti con pecore al pascolo e mucche. Al secondo piano si trova una spaziosa area soggiorno loft e un grande tavolo da pranzo con camino. C'è anche una tv con lettore dvd.

La casa ha una storia ricca: fino agli anni '60 il chiosco era una stalla con fienile e l'azienda è stato affittato da varie famiglie di agricoltori. Successivamente il terreno è stato venduto dal comune di Amsterdam al famoso scultore olandese Nel van Lith. Sul vecchio fienile ha dato lezioni di scultore al nostro ex regina Beatrice. Dal 1995 qui visse un architetto del giardino e disegnò il giardino romantico inglese / francese che è ancora intatto oggi.

A lovely house in astonishing place

We appreciated the luxuriant vegetation, our (private!) pond and the extreme calmness of the location. We didn't meet Stephanie because she was on vacation but we found every info needed on the book on the kitchen-table. The house is beautiful, has a real "nordic-style", the description is in compliance with reality, completely equipped. It's only 10minutes drive to Gein metro-station, it takes you to Amsterdam central station in 20 minutes! If we'll come back to Amsterdam we'll visit this location for sure!

In campagna alle porte di Amsterdam

Abbiamo trascorso 3 notti ad inizio luglio in questa bellissima casa, migliore di come ci aspettassimo. L'abitazione si trova in aperta campagna sul bordo di un canale, in una zona veramente tranquilla. E' circondata da un giardino rigoglioso, e si trova di fianco alla casa dei proprietari. Stephanie parla un ottimo inglese ed e' molto gentile. La casa è in stile country chic, ben arredata e ristrutturata. A piano terra vi è un disimpegno con accesso al piano superiore e bagno attrezzato con lavatrice e asciugarice. La cucina è molto grande, fornita di tutti gli elettrodomestici, tranne il microonde. Vi sono 2 camere matrimoniali ognuna con bagno privato. La casa è ideale per 4 persone perché il quinto letto,seppur abbastanza comodo, è un materassino gonfiabile, più adatto ad un bambino. Al primo piano vi è un enorme locale attrezzato con un grande divano, televisione e tavolo. Amsterdam si trova soli 15 minuti di macchina e i negozi più vicini sono a pochi chilometri . Consigliamo vivamente questa casa a chi ama il confort e la tranquillità.

Beautiful and peaceful. Excellent location easily close to shops and easy transport to tram/train. Stephanie was excellant host very helpful and kind. Only drawback was mosquitoes come with after bite and repellant. Otherwise house was roomy and well equipped

Perfect Cottage

We were 2 couples spending a week in the area. The cottage and garden are beautiful. It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. The cottage was clean, attractive, and very comfortable. Stephanie always responded quickly and offered good information. Ihighly recommend this home.

Perfect Lodging!

My wife and I had 10 amazing nights at the property! Stephanie provided exemplary coordination from the date of booking through check-out. We used the bedroom closest to the backyard pond - very comfortable and spacious! Plenty of room exists to hang clothes (we are on a 36-day holiday, so quite a few clothes), as well as dresser for folded items. The bathroom in that bedroom (both bedrooms have dedicated bathrooms) was terrific. Plenty of hot water and great water pressure in the shower. The heated floors are particularly nice when getting out of the shower. We cooked five meals at the property, with the gas stove/oven working perfectly. While the refrigerator has no freezer, we found placing frozen vegetables in the back of the refrigerator kept them sufficiently chilled. Satellite TV was great with several channels in English (movies on Chan 8/9 every night starting around 8pm), BBC, and CNN. The upstairs loft is extremely spacious, with a very large sectional sofa. We used the property as a 'hub' to 'spoke' out to Amsterdam, Leiden, Hague, Rotterdam, Delft, and Lisse. Very quiet and relaxing location, yet not far from anything you need (great Jumbo-brand grocery 15 minutes away). We would most definitely stay here again!

Four of us - own cars, own bikes. Fabulous house in a wonderful spot. Stephanie is a gracious and delightful host and her holiday home is perfect. Can’t recommend highly enough. Five Stars.

Beyond Beautiful!

This surpassed our wildest dreams. Such a well-equipped “little” cottage. So roomy, beautifully decorated, just the perfect place for a family to stay on holiday. One disclaimer, it’s a bit far from Amsterdam and neither train station is all that close. If you don’t have a car, you’ll pay premium for Ubers back and forth. But I would still stay here again in a heartbeat.

Enjoyable stay for a family

This guest cottage was excellent, with ease of accessibility to metro from both sides of Gwin Nord, which is just on the outskirts of Amsterdam limits. A rental car and parking near the city worked really well, but booking, walking and metro are options if you plan ahead. Also a good access point for those looking to explore outside Amsterdam: we were able to enjoy Düsseldorf, Eindhoven and Antwerp with this well placed VRBO just off A2. The accommodations were fantastic. A very spacious top level living area with wood stove and couch and large dining area, and a main floor with 2BR and 2BA is perfect for traveling families. We would recommend this place in a heartbeat, a scenic escape from the busyness and bustle of central Amsterdam, and a wonderful place to relax both inside and outdoors. Five stars!

A wonderful place

Sehr idyllisch gelegen, ein Haus, in dem man sich auf Anhieb wohl fühlt, geschmackvoll und vollständig eingerichtet, gute Betten, gemütliche Küche, beeindruckender Kaminraum in der oberen Etage, gute Möglichkeit, von dort aus die Umgebunge kennenzulernen, gerne wieder!

Tolles Haus nähe Amsterdam

Wir hatten das große Glück ein paar Tage in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbringen zu dürfen und wir können es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Schon beim Betreten spürt man, dass hier mit Liebe und Geschmack eingerichtet wurde. Die Räume sind großzügig geschnitten und voller Licht, was eine sehr warme und einladende Atmosphäre schafft. Die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man zum Kochen braucht. Besonders haben wir die gemütliche Sitzgelegenheit in der Küche geschätzt – perfekt für einen Kaffee am Morgen oder ein Glas Wein am Abend. Die Schlafzimmer sind komfortabel und bieten reichlich Platz, und die Betten sind wunderbar bequem. Auch das Bad lässt keine Wünsche offen; alles war sauber und gepflegt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Lage. Die Umgebung ist ruhig und grün, ideal für Spaziergänge und kleine Ausflüge und trotzdem ist alles Wichtige schnell erreichbar. Der Garten ist ein echtes Highlight und ist sehr idyllisch. Ein herzliches Dankeschön an die Gastgeber, die stets freundlich, hilfsbereit und aufmerksam waren. Man spürt, dass ihnen das Wohl ihrer Gäste wirklich am Herzen liegt. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können dieses Haus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

Das Wohnzimmer im OG ist sehr groß und hell. Das Haus liegt sehr idyllisch an einer Gracht. In dieser kann man schwimmen.

Idyllic place im a calm surrounding

We had a wonderful time in this idyllic place at the river,surrounded by cows and near a farmers shop.The house was clean and had a huge kitchen.There were also mosquito-nets for protection.We enjoyed a week and spend a day renting bikes to explore Abcoude and the nearby area.

Superbe logement proche d'Amsterdam

Très très beau et grand logement. Au calme et à la campagne mais a seulement 7min du métro en voiture qui vous emmène a Amsterdam en 15 min (parking gratuit avec de la place au pied du métro). Le salon du 1ere étage est superbe. Les chambres sont spacieuses et ont chacune leur salle de bain. Une perle rare qui donne envie de revenir !

Great house and location

A lovely house in a peaceful location. Spent a happy week here with my husband and adult daughter. House well equipped, especially the mosquito nets which were definitely needed but they worked as I didn’t get any bites! We enjoyed relaxing in the evening in the upstairs living room. Weren’t able to use the garden as much as we would have liked due to the weather but did sit outside a couple of times and enjoyed watching the wildlife and listening to the birds - first time I’ve ever heard a cuckoo! Only a 10 minute drive to Weesp where we caught the train to Amsterdam. Stephanie was a great host and answered my questions before we travelled very promptly. Would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

Enjoyed our stay

There is a lovely garden with a deck where we are entertained by the birds, the mallards, the cows and the flowers . Very convenient location, we can always find a great outdoor cafe for lunch. We like the kitchen, which is large and has a gas stove.

Perfect for an extended stay: quiet and beautiful.

We spent three weeks here using this charming home as a base for our travels throughout various parts of the Netherlands. It is easy to reach Amsterdam from here and our host provided us with great details about getting to and from the city. Stephanie was responsive when an issue arose with the hot water and she kept us up-to-date when a local marathon forced a road closure. The home had everything we needed to make our stay pleasant. If you are looking for a quiet country get-away, in a charming setting this is the perfect place for you.

Eine sehr schöne central gelegene Ferienwohnung, um Amsterdam und Umgebung mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist komfortabel ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind nett und freundlichen. Die Wohnung empfehlen wir gerne weiter.

Great stay in nature

Stephanie’s place is an amazing converted barn surrounded by a lovely garden and farmland. The location is convenient to Amsterdam (25 min by train) and a short run or drive to the quaint town of Weesp. She takes pride in her property and is extremely helpful with local tips and ideas of things to do in the area. Be sure to walk to the local dairy farm for some Tasty cheeses, yogurt and milk. Very comfortable for our family of four to stay in for multiple days. We will be back!
