Cradled in the hillside just above the sea, Villa Chora is a calming retreat where two mirror-image villas come together around a glistening stone-framed pool. Step inside and you’ll find open-plan living spaces filled with natural light, where pared-back interiors blend soft grey tones, pale wood and crisp white finishes. The mood is slow and serene, designed for easy going days with family or friends. Drift between the sofa and terrace, your gaze always pulled towards the horizon.


Each villa sleeps six guests and features three king-sized bedrooms, all with sleek en-suite shower rooms and French doors leading directly outside. Upstairs, a sociable kitchen, dining and lounge area opens onto sea-facing pergolas made for long lunches shaded from the sun. Whether you’re sipping coffee under the oak tree or floating in the 10-metre pool framed by ancient stonework, the views of Chora town, the sea and surrounding hills are ever-present.


Set within a five-acre plot that also houses a traditional Cycladic chapel, Villa Chora offers seclusion without sacrificing access. The charming town of Chora is just minutes away, while the beaches of Niborio and Gialia are within walking distance, close enough to wander, far enough to feel like you’ve found your own peaceful corner of the island.

Villa Chora is located on the island of Andros, just a short drive or leisurely walk from the island’s capital, Chora. Here, neoclassical architecture and bougainvillaea-clad alleyways set a charming scene for exploring boutiques, cafés and tavernas. The nearby beaches of Niborio and Gialia offer crystal-clear waters and calm shorelines, with Niborio accessible on foot in under ten minutes.


Andros itself is known for its diverse landscape, think rugged mountain paths, freshwater springs and green valleys, a rare contrast in the Cyclades. The region is steeped in maritime history, which you can explore at the Archaeological Museum and Maritime Museum in town. Local bakeries and grocers are close by for everyday essentials, while a wider selection of dining and cultural attractions is easily reached within Chora’s old town.
