I booked this hotel in advance because I was truly looking forward to a relaxing vacation after a 19-hour flight. Sadly, my experience here was incredibly disappointing.
The first room I was given was unacceptable: no drinking water, an unplugged refrigerator, an unclean comfort room, and an air conditioner that barely worked. To their credit, the front desk staff were kind and moved me to Room 212. Unfortunately, that room was also a downgrade and came with its own issues: a strong smell from the nearby restaurant, very poor water flow, a toilet that wouldn’t flush properly, slimy bathroom tiles, no slippers, and a remote control with dead batteries. Even the simple request for a tabo and timba was met with items that looked dirty and unusable.
After such a long journey, all I wanted was to rest and take a proper shower, but instead I was left in tears in the lobby from sheer exhaustion and frustration. The staff reassured me that I would not be charged for early check-in and even showed me a message from their manager. To my shock, I was still billed despite their promise.
This entire experience not only ruined the start of my trip but also left me feeling deeply frustrated and let down. I sincerely hope management takes these concerns seriously and ensures no other guests go through the same situation.
