  • Beautifully refreshed 4-bedroom Lake Retreat that is perfect for your escape to the Lake James chain & the entertainment of 4-Corners which is within walking distance. Guests will find a wonderful mix of sleeping options, including a primary suite with a King bed, en suite, dual closets & a private balcony. 2 additional Guestrooms in the main Lakehouse offer Queen, Full, and Bunk bed setups, PLUS the 'Nest Guesthouse' features an additional Full bed, Daybed, and a trundle style Twin bed. The Lakehouse offers two Full Bathrooms while the Guesthouse provides the properties 3rd Full Bath. When not off enjoying the Lakes, Golf Course, State Park, nearby restaurants & wineries, or Casino - relax on the multi-tier deck which includes a great mix of Adirondak, hammock, and lounger styler chairs plus a fire pit & gas grill -OR- head indoors and enjoy the wifi, smart TVs & COOOOL A/C. The shared docked space allows for 1 watercraft no more than 25' in length. Watercraft must be tied up to dock area between the aqua posts.
No fishing or sunbathing on the shared dock space. Only use the first 32' of the pier.
The shared swim area at the shared dockspace has a limit of 6 swimmers in the water at a time and the easement walkway to the pier is 6' wide.

Had a great time. Place was very nice. Only thing the one bedroom upstairs does not have a cooling vent so the room was extremely warm.

This property was absolutely as described in the listing. Even more beautiful in person. It was spotless and I’m picky. There was everything you could possibly need in the kitchen was supplied. Great to have the extra large refrigerator and freezer too. The ice maker wasn’t functioning but that was an easy fix to just go buy some. Needed it for coolers anyway when we went on our boat. There was a separate little house to sleep 3-4 people. Bathroom was great, nice shower. Boat dock was there for our use also. Even though this isn’t directly on the water front, it was an easy 1 minute walk to get to it. Overall we highly recommend this place for large families. We had 15 in our group and were able to work out sleeping without having a problem. Our host was amazing also.

1. This place is very cute and the interior property pictures are spot on. The decorations are nicely understated (beach theme without being BEACH THEME). 2. The kitchen was well appointed. The pots and pans were really nice, there are quality knives and basic spices, plenty of plates/dishes/cups/silverware. Also there were nicely LOTS of games and even some books.3. The ice maker in the freezer does not work. Bring an ice machine or be prepared to purchase ice.4. This place is not on the water. There is a slight water view but only from select parts of the property. It isn't even on a back lot, but behind the house on a back lot with an easement to the water. The owner stated it was a short one minute walk but he must be in excellent shape compared to me. It took a lot longer to walk to the dock. You have to go across a street, down multiple sets of stairs (past 2 different houses) and then you are on uneven ground up against a fence for the last part of your walk. Then once you get to the water, you are at the dock. But you can't swim or fish off of the dock and the dock is rather rickety. 5. The area has loads of things to do nearby, restaurants a coffee truck and a donut shop. Plus on the water there is a food truck (is it a truck when it is floating?) and the corner store is nice plus the people working at the corner store were really helpful.
