Dickenson Bay Oasis Antigua Village

"Antigua Village at Dickenson Bay is located in one of the most beautiful areas of Antigua, right on the beachfront, and that alone makes it a wonderful place to stay. There are several restaurants and bars nearby, some within walking distance and many others just a 5–10 minute drive away. The property consists of around 30 buildings, originally built in the 1980s, surrounded by an absolutely stunning tropical garden. The swimming pool was always spotless, and the gardeners worked every day to take care of the extensive grounds. From every apartment, the private beach can be reached in just a couple of minutes. Some parts of the property do show their age, but this was more than compensated for by the impeccable cleanliness throughout our stay. Housekeeping every two days also made it a very comfortable and easy place to stay and relax. The staff were always friendly, kind and helpful. What we will remember most are the enormous palm trees, colourful flowers everywhere, hummingbirds, tiny tree frogs and little mongooses that regularly appeared around the gardens and made our stay feel wonderfully exotic. For us as Italians, being used to a completely different climate, landscape, flora and wildlife, staying here genuinely felt magical. We absolutely recommend Antigua Village and will remember this beautiful little corner of Antigua with great affection."

"Colazione, pranzo e cena eccellenti, rigorosamente serviti al tavolo. Colazione consiglio omelette con pezzettini di bacon . Pranzo e cena pesce sublime con guarnizioni super a base di salsa di mango. I dolci erano da 10, in particolare la cheesecake al limone. Il personale è sempre stato gentilissimo e disponibile a soddisfare le nostre richieste. La camera vista tramonto sul mar dei caraibi e le docce (2) all’aperto, ma naturalmente adeguatamente protette, provocano forti emozioni . Abbiamo apprezzato anche la canoa inclusa nell’all inclusive."
