“We had a lovely two night stay here. Room 2 had a very comfortable bed, and the roll-top bath in this room was a real treat. Tea and coffee making facilities had everything we needed, the breakfast was sumptuous, with lots to choose from. There is plenty of car-parking right outside the front door, and the whole building is very attractive and in the local Lakeland style. There is a lovely garden to sit in when the weather is fine. The village is easily walkable in 5-10 mins and Bowness is only...

“This was a charming place to stay. There were sheep in the field outside our window. There were cookies and tea things in our room. There was a nice common room/library with lots of maps and guide books. We had a delicious full Scottish breakfast in the morning. We'd love to stay there again!”
