We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back when we come to visit throughout the year. We chose it because it was close to move in our son for his freshman year at Lawrence University. For us, the location was perfect and we enjoyed walking to the nearby parks. The backyard is an absolute bonus. We like to cook when we stay for long periods of time so the only gentle comments are that the kitchen is only minimally appointed (surprisingly there is a Kitchen Aid mixer but no pans of any kind for baking). We were absolutely able to make it work and the backyard BBQ works great. The bonus room in the basement is great, plus laundry! The beds were comfortable and we slept soundly. The property management team is awesome and fast at getting back with answers to questions. We definitely give this place two thumbs way up!

Spacious Weekend escape

We loved this property-we are a family of four and I knew we were going to invite some friends over for dinner during our stay. With 9 of us in there during the afternoon and evening, this house was spacious enough for everyone to do whatever they wanted to do or retreat for space when kids needed a break from each other. We would stay there again if we travel back to Appleton.

Lovely home in quiet neighborhood. Great location near restaurants, Lawrence and diwntown. The park was great to walk to. The backyard was so nice to relax in. Home is restored but retauns historical touches.

Draft visit

House was very clean. Great location to shops and restaurants and parks. Easy access. One full bath was not an issue. Plenty of entertaining space. Bbq was nice. Need few more cooking utensils would be good.

Very clean, well stocked home in historic area

The house was very clean and had plenty of supplies for our few days in town. The home has been restored but maintains the historic charm. I would only suggest a flashlight or candle in case the power goes out, if there was one, we couldn't find it when the power was out during our stay. And it might be a bit warm upstairs if the temp is over 75. Overall an awesome visit!

Visited for the Green Bay game, only a 30 minute drive from Appleton. Very comfortable stay! Had all accommodations, very nicely decorated & cozy beds! Lots of space for everyone & great neighborhood!! Would highly recommend a stay!

Getaway to relax

Location situated a nice residential area. Close to downtown area. Walking distance to a park. Parks are very nice in Appleton. Enjoy our stay very much. Comfortable. Only limit was the bathroom. Only 1.5 bathrooms.

Quiet and Comfotable

Quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard space. We enjoyed visiting with our family that lives nearby. House is nicely furnished with bright open floor plan and large bedrooms. Would appreciate having extra garbage bags other than the one in the kitchen basket and the towels upstairs in the bathroom rather than having to go to the basement and unload a packed dryer to find them. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Picture perfect house and neighborhood

The neighborhood was picturesque. The house was was zen. Enjoyed everything about our stay except the check-in process was a bit confusing due to the "rules" in the contract you have to sign online while checking in did not match the owners rules. The owner was very quick to respond to and clarify, so it all worked out. The park down the street was so peaceful.

Wonderful place to stay!!

We love Mark and his houses. This one has a large fenced-in backyard, so it is our dog's favorite when we come to Appleton. The yard is lovely for humans, too, as is the whole house!

Extended Stay

Great house with much charm! Our teenage daughter loved the room she had! Beds were comfortable and decor was beautiful. Large backyard looked great, but it was too cold for us to be outside! Great location to visit relatives in DePere.

Great find…

Stayed at this property for our Christmas vacation to visit family. Beautifully decorated inside with plenty of space. Able to bring in our own Christmas decorations which provided a truly warm setting for the Holidays. We’ve rented from this host before and had exceptional service on that property as well. I definitely recommend this property and host. You will be very happy as we were! We will be renting this year again and hopefully can get this property again! Enjoy! We certainly did! Comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay in this home. It was comfortable and had all amenities needed for a relaxing stay away from home. It was convenient to numerous parks, restaurants, grocery stores and points of interest. Backyard was great and full of plants and flowers and a grill for grilling out. Great WI adventure for us visiting from NC.

Lovely home on quiet street

Had a short stay here during a recent trip to the area. Lovely older home, well maintained and in a quiet, tree lined street near a wonderful city park that backs up to the Fox River. Gorgeous backyard with mature landscaping, late summer flowers and nice patio for breakfast. The home is well stocked with fabulous kitchen, nice bathrooms and extremely comfy beds. Mark is a wonderful host and we've been fortunate to stay at two of his other properties, which are also well-maintained, spotless and comfortable. We will be back!
