“Great peaceful getaway — even better in warm weather!I stayed at Adam’s property over Thanksgiving with my dog, and Adam was a wonderful host. He communicated quickly and was very helpful throughout the stay. The grounds were beautiful, clean, and peaceful, and the chickens were a fun and quiet surprise. “Was caught off guard with $10 a night to park in the hotel parking lot ($20 a night for peak season) this was not clear when reservations were made and the couple checking in before us was caught off guard as well, even if you had handicap placard you still had to pay!”

“I visited in the off-season, but being in a hotel on the water was fantastic. I caught two beautiful sunsets the weekend I was there, and from the back parking lot of the hotel, you can walk to the embankment of yard where it meets the Bogue Sound. My hotel room was great; breakfast was good. My only minor issue is that the pillows were not as solid as some others I've slept on at Hilton/Hampton hotels, but that's an easy fix: bring your own pillows. I shouldn't have assumed they'd be the same...
