“This boutique hotel had exceptional service, the team was lovely and the complimentary mini-bar and snacks was definitely a nice touch. The room was spacious and comfortable for a family of 4. The little piece of Nintendo history also made the stay even more special. It was also nice to be in a quiet neighborhood but still be close to the city and busy areas. The library and open bar/self-service bar was also great. It was like coming home every night and everyone felt at ease and comfortable....

“Nice renovated traditional house, 1 JR train stop near Kyoto station. Very clean, convenient. Improvements: 1. please remove the wood planks that shrinks the entrance for no reason. It's ugly and literally 50 cm wide: if you're fat, you cannot pass through the doorway and enter the house. 2. Change plastic tableware for ceramic, microwave smells burn, maybe add an induction cooker. Overall nice place to stay in Kyoto.”
