“Just okay - all the great reviews about this place surprise me as it missed the mark for us and didn't feel like great value for the money. Space is brand new and clean, but not the most functional in a lot of ways. No shelf over the toilet and no where to hang things in the bathroom (hooks are outside the bathroom in the kitchen where you also need a space to hang a coat), a fancy walk in shower but normal showerhead which means you had to step out of the water to reach soap, just little things...

“Best hotel in Cow Bay. Super location on the water overlooking the marina, and easy walk to everything (note, restaurants close early). The recent renovation is decent, albeit with some curious design choices (dining chairs, table legs get in way to use, exhaust hood removed from kitchenettes, etc.). TV is hilariously small, and limited access / programs (for this day and age). Portable AC now added which is a thankful relief, but noisy. “We really enjoyed the Motel 6 Saanichton location. Easy to find and access right off the highway near Sidney and Central Saanich. friendly and helpful front desk staff who responded to a late night noise complaint we had. Very clean room. Very convenient White Spot Restaurant on site.”
