“This hotel is an absolute gem! The rooms are clean and spacious with all seemingly having amazing ocean views. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a bit outside main tourist area, which is fine as reception was able to call taxi or I used 1Bena (Gambia Uber). Highly recommend!”

“We traveled down to Gambia to attend a funeral seremoni and chose to stay at cape point hotell since that was familiar to us and the first hotel we ever stayed at in Gambia! It was a good choice! We lived next to family in Bakau and were well taken care off by the staff! They were there whenever we needed help and they were very supportive and service minded during our entire stay! All in all a good trip with a lot of new friends! We will definately be back! ☺️”

BUT a room with private bath was offered at a more expensive price upon arrival (BAIT & SWITCH). “Hotel fatiscente. Meno di due stelle. Le camere sembrano delle celle di alcatraz. Corridoio sporco e contro soffitto con animali al seguito. “Kleinschalig hotel rustig gelegen en dichtbij strand. Dichtbij Bijilo park , kleine 2 km en strand op 3 min stappen. Heel vriendelijk personeel zowel in het hotel zelf als het bijhorende massagesalon. Wij hadden een zalige vakantie en gaan zeker terug !”
