N. Oregon Falcon Cove Beach House

Questa accogliente casa sulla spiaggia recentemente ristrutturata si trova in un tranquillo quartiere residenziale appartato. Situato esattamente tra due meravigliose città sulla spiaggia, Cannon Beach e Manzanita. Entrambe le città sono facilmente accessibili a pochi minuti di distanza e offrono ristoranti, negozi di alimentari, librerie e altri negozi interessanti. Falcon Cove si trova all'interno del Oswald West State Park, a pochi passi (o meno di 2 miglia di auto) dalla spiaggia di Short Sands. Il parco offre surf di classe mondiale, escursioni e relax in spiaggia, nascosto in un'incredibile vecchia foresta in crescita. Falcon Cove ha anche una propria pausa surf unica e ha sentieri escursionistici accessibili dalla casa.

Falcon Cove è una splendida area abbastanza isolata e non popolata con spiagge rocciose con l'alta marea e spiagge sabbiose con la bassa marea. Recentemente trasformata in National Marine Reserve, Falcon Cove offre un'abbondante vita marina e piscine di marea. Ci sono viste sull'oceano da soggiorno, cucina e terrazza sul retro e la spiaggia è a solo 1 1/2 isolato a piedi dalla casa. Pianifica di rilassarti, leggere un libro, trascorrere del tempo sulla spiaggia, ricreare, cercare foraggio per i funghi, fare surf, andare a fare gattonate sul fiume Nehalem ed esplorare l'incredibile costa del Nord Oregon.

Abbiamo recentemente aggiunto un'esperienza spa rustica con sauna all'aperto e piscina fredda per il risciacquo. Questo aggiungerà davvero alla tua avventura e relax :)

My family had a great time. The beach is so close and not very busy. My kids really enjoyed playing in the sand, looking for sand dollars, and seeing the tide pools. The fenced in yard was a big plus. I liked the quiet neighborhood compared to the bigger beach towns.

The location is truly wild and yet the house is in a neighborhood setting. The house itself was clean and had everything you might need for a visit. However, the description states two full baths - only one and two other showers in the sauna and the laundry shed. You can hear the ocean from the house but the views are only partial. And lastly there wasn't a cold dip pool. We think perhaps the listing needs to reflect what is currently available. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and were able to take lots of walks on the beach and visit Short Sands Beach, Oswald Park, and several other places in Cannon Beach.

Our stay in the house was exactly what our family needed. Restful and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. An almost private beach with beautiful coastal bluffs and tide pools. The walk to the beach itself is beautiful with a foot bath through greenery and sweeping views through wind blown trees. Although the neighborhood is perfectly tucked away from all busy-ness and noise, Cannon Beach and Manzanita are just minutes away with easy shopping and many good restaurants. Our family felt like we had hit the jackpot with this rare solitude on a usually busy Oregon coast. The kitchen is well stocked and we made several yummy dinners at home.

This was the perfect location for a trip with my kids! We were so close to the beach, to beautiful hikes, and to destinations like Cannon Beach! Our stay was delightful—the cottage was clean and comfortable and fit our needs perfectly. We hope to visit again sometime!

This place was great! The kitchen had everything you need plus more. The beach access was amazing. A short walk to a beach with no public parking which equals having it almost to yourself! Plus kids beach toys were a bonus.

We absolutely loved our stay at this little cottage in Falcon Cove! We stayed here several years ago and the owner has made some quality upgrades since, which made the cottage very comfortable. It's a short walk down to the beach, and our son had a blast playing in the sand and chasing the waves. With the windows open in the cottage, you can hear the waves crashing onto the shore below. Given that we're in a pandemic, we really appreciated the extra covid precautions, especially having a one-day buffer between guests.

We had a great 10 days. The beach is close by. It is a nice, secluded, quiet, neighborhood. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. Wish we could have been able to open more windows, though, to hear the ocean.

Wow! What a magical place! I grew up coming to Falcon's Cove and it was such a blessing to find this gem of a house so close to such a magical beach. House was VERY clean and had amazing energy. The sauna was stellar! Thank you! I look forward to returning!

We really needed a break and this home is so peaceful and the beach uncrowded even on Labor Day. It has lots of different spaces for a group to relax, and the yard was perfect for our two hammocks (no trees, bring stands). The upper deck has great views and is wonderful to sit and read. The beach is a quick walk. We were there in the storm so power went out that night, my only thought would be to have lanterns or flashlights available since we had to use our phones to see inside the house. Not sure how often that happens though since the storm was an anomaly for that time of year. As others have said, no microwave however the stove worked just great for us and we enjoyed the charcoal grill. Just the respite we all needed. And very comfortable beds and couches, although we spent most of our time on the beach!

Nice to have a fireplace. Kitchen and bathroom were good. Needs a microwave! And privacy curtain for kitchen would be nice. Bedrooms were old and outdated. Sauna was great but polar tub seemed to have a leak? Fine place to stay but honestly not worth the money compared to others we have stayed at around there.

As mentioned many times before the location is perfection. Quiet and beautiful, just steps from the beach, less than a handful of people each time we went. Very convient to Oswald park and Cannon Beach. The house was very clean and comfortable and was perfect for our needs ( 3 adults and 1 child). My only suggestions as noted by others are relatively small things that make the visitor feel more at home such as better stocking (nespresso, shower body wash), less arduous check out procedures (starting laundry). The water heater is quite small which likely can not be helped.

The house is in such a great location. Cannon Beach/Seaside is 20 minutes to the north and beautiful Manzatina is 20 minutes south. Surrounded by tress on two sides, the ocean/beach just a small walk away. Quiet and pleasent neighborhood with wonderful neighbors! House was good for the 3 of us. The property is great! Fully stocked kitchen. No microwave. Plenty of games to use with friends/family! And if you come in the colder months, plenty of wood for the beautiful wood burning stove. We used the sauna/cold tub and that was awesome. Experienced folks only! You won't be disappointed here. One issue: there is only one key for the whole house and that was very inconvenient for us. Other than that: magical like I said!

Had an absolutely relaxed, vacation in Falcon Cove. 2 full weeks and easily could have made it longer. We hiked and walked various trails and beaches and cooked family meals at home. We instantly responded to the simple and clean decor, the sauna!, the low tides and simple beauty of this place. The Northern Oregon coast calls. We will be back. It was hard to leave and re-enter real life. A sense of home and family pervades this place.
