We absolutely loved Arcasa. The villa was beautiful, stylish, clean and comfortable. The outside area was private with high quality sun loungers and patio furniture. Everything that you need is in the villa. We arrived late and Michael very kindly left us some food and water to get us through to the next day when shops would be open. Lovely cleaners came everyday to empty bins etc. The town is fabulous, we enjoyed a coffee in the square every morning and fresh bread from one of the bakeries. You won’t find many tourists here, it’s mainly local which is what we loved. There are lots of lovely restaurants in the town serving amazing Greek food. Just be aware that the walk down to the town is very steep and getting back up is a workout after dinner. We were fine with it but definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, take your car instead, once down the hill the town is flat. We loved Arcasa and Archanes and will be back

We’ve been traveling in Greece for a month and this stay has been the most amazing. The host has thought of every luxury and convenience. From the private pool to the high-end finish out of the houses, it is just stunning. The kitchen is so well stocked to make anything. From the microwave to the oven to the electric griddle to the outdoor gas grill, the washer and dishwasher. The parking for your car is very secure. It’s a quick walk into to the restaurants of Archanes if you don’t want to drive. The hospitality of the host is perfect also. We are already planning to return, just to stay here.

The villas was very clean, spacious and modern. We were there March 12-16 so very early in the season. The pools were closed which I didn’t know until getting there as it was shown when I booked that heated pools were all year round. There was apparently a sandstorm from Africa for a week prior to us coming which then closed the pools. The host offered us an extra night free however we already had our flights back to Athens booked so couldn’t take advantage of that. Michaelis offered a dinner for the 4 of us so we took him up on that offer and it was excellent. The location was pretty good, 20 min from Heraklion, beaches, about 40 min to the CreteAquarium. It’s a pretty quiet area that you are in, the locals are quite friendly and helpful I would stay again as long as the pool was open as my kids felt the disappointment with it not being open.
We were about a 5 minute drive from the town where you can walk around, go to shops, winery, restaurants, cafes. Beautiful

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr gut. Luxuriös ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Das einzige Manko war, dass der Pool nicht beheizt ist. Somit war er unbrauchbar für uns. Das Wasser war für die Jahreszeit (Oktober) zu kalt zum Baden. Aber laut Betreiber sollen nächstes Jahr ein Teil der Pools mit Wärmepumpen ausgestattet werden. Die Kommunikation mit dem Betreiber war ebenfalls sehr gut. Er ging auf alle unsere Wünsche ein. Der Standort ist ein bisschen gewöhnungsbedürftig. Es handelt sich um ein altes Dorf auf einer Anhöhe. Die kleinen Gassen und die meisten Häuser waren schon sehr heruntergekommen und schmutzig bzw. verdreckt. Die Hauptstraßen waren und werden erneuert. Ein paar schöne Restaurants waren auch im Ort.

The property we stayed in was new and has been built to a very high standard. All the rooms have a shower and seperate toilet. A sink is located in each room next to the door. The living areas are bright and clean with floor to ceiling windows/doors, open plan kitchen diner with lots of space with modern appliances. All rooms had smart TVs with apps so we could login into Netflix etc. The pool was fantastic as were the sun loungers with two bean bag chairs. Around the front of the property is a large courtyard featuring a large table & chairs with a gas BBQ for alfresco dining. Next to this there was a seating area for relaxing. Cleaners visited everyday to empty the bins, including the toilet bins. Clean towels were provided for the pool as well as for the bathrooms. Sheets and towels were changed once a week. A truly fantastic property that we thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend these properties.
